Antaiseito Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I'd read it, also read your old stuff some weeks ago ^^
Appledash- Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I thought your blog was pretty cool, so I'd read it. Sent from my RM-917_nam_usa_100 using Tapatalk
ElvenShadow Posted July 16, 2014 Author Posted July 16, 2014 The moment that (some of) you have been waiting for is here! Or perhaps you haven't really been waiting but now that it has come you might sorta care! That's right... I have written a brand new entry to revive my blog! ...but there is one small problem. It seems that I am no longer able to log into my blogger account. I changed my email address sometime in late 2011 shortly after I stopped writing my blog. I guess my old email address seems to be inactive now and I don't think I can log in anymore. The blog still exists but it seems the account associated with it does not. When I try to recover password, it sends an email to my old email address but that email no longer is accessible. When I enter the URL of the blog to check the account username associated with it, it gives an error.... SO.... unless someone knows another way I can access it again, I may need to transfer everything over to a new blog URL. This could take quite some time... Can anyone provide some help on this? I typed the new entry in a Word document so I can upload it easily once I get the account going. Antaiseito 1
ElvenShadow Posted July 18, 2014 Author Posted July 18, 2014 Alright! So, to deal with not being able to log into my old blog, I just made a new account and am in the process of moving all of the old content over. I still need to fix formatting and stuff and more than half the posts are still not transferred yet at this time, but the latest post is up there and ready to read! I hope it is an enjoyable read. New blog URL elvenshadowblog.blogspot.com enjoy
Errol Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Hey! Nice read. Good luck with arc revo, and good luck finding a job after that. ElvenShadow 1
ElvenShadow Posted July 18, 2014 Author Posted July 18, 2014 Thanks man! BTW, I finished adding all the old posts so the new blog is up to date. Unfortunately I don't know how I can transfer all the old comments over unless I posted them myself and said who they are from but whatever. Ill at least add in the images again later when I have time. Also, don't expect weekly updates like back in the day but I will update when there is something worth posting.
Antaiseito Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Went through some similar Visa-stuff (in Europe) in the past, that always needs quite a bit of patience y_y Good luck for the tournament and your future! Enjoy the rest of your stay ElvenShadow 1
ElvenShadow Posted July 18, 2014 Author Posted July 18, 2014 Antaiseito, yea it is a rough experience. We were at least lucky to move quickly through the first phase at USCIS but now things after that have been going slower than normal. Nothing you can do but be prepared as possible and take it one day at a time. Things will most likely work out in the end. I'll try to keep a positive mindset, and I definitely want to make the most of my last amount of time here in Japan! Antaiseito 1

Zouf Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 just in case you are interested, here's the match that lost me the gold. round 1 is a real heart breaker... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_sDW50ENis It's totally off topic but, at 0:23, you get hit by the roll + airspike (no idea what is this move or how it's called). Why? I mean, why is everyone getting hit by this? She was way too far to throw, so what did you try here and what were you afraid of? I've been wondering for quite some time now lol
Pichy Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Like trying to jab or throw the roll on reaction.
ElvenShadow Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 It's totally off topic but, at 0:23, you get hit by the roll + airspike (no idea what is this move or how it's called). Why? I mean, why is everyone getting hit by this? She was way too far to throw, so what did you try here and what were you afraid of? I've been wondering for quite some time now lol I was probably anticipating him doing a double roll and try to throw me so I think I was trying to jump away and I let go of block. Yea, I shouldn't have gotten hit by that but oh well.
Zouf Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I see. So it's a "I want to react but i'm too late" kind of situation Because I really often see millias landing a hit after a roll so i've been wondering what was people mindset during those times.
ElvenShadow Posted October 3, 2014 Author Posted October 3, 2014 Well it was more of me anticipating him doing something and him doing something else. If he went for a second roll to try and throw me then jumping away would have been the right move but I jumped the gun and read the situation wrong.
nyyyyy Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Nice read indeed. I have a question though. In your time playing Xrd did you notice certain characters being more flavour of the month than others? Potemkins popularity will always be low for obvious reasons, but from I have heard the amount of I-No players significantly increased compare to +R. Can you confirm that? Are there any other characters who barely saw play in former iterations of the franchise but are now picked way more consistently? I would interested in knowing how the scene developed in Japan because from the footage I saw it doesnt really look like much changed. People still seem to stick to their mains. Thanks in advance.
ElvenShadow Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 Yea there are probably a little more I-no players in Japan now than before. There are also less characters to choose from now and many people had to change mains. I wouldn't really say so much that there is a flavor of the month though.
