Your weekend adventures are always entertaining, and I've learned a lot about Guilty Gear and Japan in general from reading up on your weekend adventures. (Going to Japan is a dream of mine so I think it's pretty damn cool you're living there teaching English, and playing Guilty Gear against top Japanese players). I hope your stomach ulcer gets better soon, and I'll see you in January (So long as I can make the trip).

Mariko in particular puts up really good pictures all the time. I would warn you away from looking at chibi test's pics though. The halloween ones you took were much, much more flattering for her.

The tickets are kinda pricey at 7800, so I would understand if you didn't want to go for that reason too, but hopefull you'll be riding home on a big win from FF :D I guess I'll throw this in your thread on Dloop too seeing as you said you dont check FB often.

I guess I'll just fly solo on that one since inviting any of my other friends will probably entail me buying two tickets, something I cant afford. Next week can you make sure to say Happy bday to Nozomi for me, and tell her I'm coming in January? I cant wait for it, but I also have a new gf(actually she lives in Gunma :O ) so now I kinda regret signing up for a whole month that is destined to kill my finances, but what can you do right? Hope you feel better, and of course you are the base player in Gaijin Smash, the Cure cover band.

Good shit, where at in Gunma? and yea, sucks about the concert. Actually at this very moment while I am typing this, Opeth is playing live in Shibuya!!!! I wanted to go so bad but the only way I could is if I went on shinkansen both ways which would cost me 1-man plus the concert was like 7000 yen and thats just too much for me to burn on a Tuesday afternoon right now. It sucks cuz they ALWAYS play on weeknights when they come to Japan... At least i saw them live in Chicago like over 10 years ago heh

Shes in Sano, so its not perfect, but its a similar gig to Mike's and not really any further from tokyo I dont think. Want me to get the name of the place she applied to? It could be useful as a last ditch effort to get you over there asap

In another note, not sure how serious the talk was, but I was drinking with some of my exchange student friends that will be going home in December and was telling them about Northern Lights in Nigata and they said they totally wanted to hit it up some time during January. I dont know how busy you'll be then, but I remember you were looking for a reason to go back there so maybe we could go check that out some weekend maybe?
