It has already been confirmed for a disc release.

Sorry, not that I don't believe you, but does anyone have a link confirming this?

At the stage event Mori also confirmed that CSE will begin arcade operation THIS month, of course all the console version are still planned for 12/17

Also there still haven't been official statements on whether or not the PS3/360 version are disc or DLC, but they share the same release as the Vita version.

"Yes, we are planning downloadable content," series producer Toshimichi Mori confirmed to Siliconera in an interview.

Mori wouldn’t reveal the kind of downloadable content Arc System Works is planning for the game, though. I asked specifically about downloadable characters and Mori said, "that hasn’t been decided yet."

Alpha Station reports they'll be getting "BlazBlue Continuum Shift II Ver 1.10" (AKA the arcade version of Extend) on October 5, so I'm assuming other arcades in Japan are getting it the same day.

New version includes balance changes, new character Relius Clover, a new announcer and a new "Survival Mode".

On top of Relius Clover as a playable character, balance changes, and a new announcer/system voice, the arcade version of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend also includes the following:

  • Survival Mode
  • Refined Beginner Mode, called STYLISH Mode
  • PSR reset and new method of PSR calculation
  • Carl vs. Relius and Jin vs. Tsubaki music theme
  • New medals and titles

If BBCS:EX is a launch title for the Vita in the US like it is in Japan, looks like it will come out for Vita, 360, PS3 on February 22, 2012, since that's the Vita Launch Date.

Blazblue Song Interlude will be release on December 17 in Japan w/ new vocal arrangements.

(sketchy translation on my part)

To be specific, this is the limited pre-order bonus OST disc and it includes 4 new BGM (wait, 4? What's the 4th one?) and 2 new Vocal Arrangements.
