Yeah I know man...I'm trying to save more money, but Embee is pretty good. I haven't been playing fighting games like at all in the last month or two though.

I missed signups for Melty somehow last year.

Casuals with the Melty scene generally doesn't go too well either. At Evo, people would just get mad, troll and laugh at me with their secondaries (even if they were losing...) or just look down on me in general for being an F. Ries random. People aren't pulling this "MB players are asses" out of nowhere, they don't know how to be very social or just how to let new people in to play.

So...I'd miss work to go 2-2 in GG/MB again, not be on a team for anything, get sick of games, be the quintessential "I don't drink" guy, fly home and find out what shit happened at work that I have to deal with.

You mean the Hazama who people can't find combos for? This update looks like ass, but I said that shit about CS loketests and that game was significantly better. Besides, afaik I get my old character back, which would be wonderful; I like Litchi and everything, but being able to control the fucking wind > NOT being able to control the fucking wind.

Regardless, I'm cleaning my GGAC disk just to make sure that it's ready and available for when this shit hits the fan.

Yeah I know what you mean there bro. Animu players are almost always douche bags. Something about "I CAN DO COMBOS I STOLE OFF JAPANESE MATCH VIDEOS AND PLAY S TIER AND KNOW THE LATEST 4 CHAN REFERENCES" makes people into fucktards. And then yeah... wait 3 hours for a match, lose, wait another 3 hours, lose again... yay 8 hours of driving, hundreds of dollars spent! Nothing to do! I'm not all that big on drinking either... seems like the older I get the less I want to drink lol. I might smoke if that was going down but alas.... I don't want to turn into arturo lol. Maybe when I get some free time for a tournament me and you could be on a team and wander around whatever town we end up in like we did at animazement, that was fun. Team Prohibition!
