I think last time we started around 6 or 7pm. It'll probably be a safe bet to show up around then, unless Stephen posts up a different time.

Also, a few of us (me, Sam, and Aaron) are planning to meet up at NC State at 4:00, before leaving for Stephen's. If you wanna hang out, I can text you whenever I know where exactly at NC State we'll be meeting at.

Hello there.

I'm about to move to North Carolina for a job from Texas. I have no idea what the scene is like there. I read some of the last few pages, and the 1st page, but didn't get much info.

I'll be moving to the Camp Lejeune/Jacksonville area, on the coast, which looks to be about 3 hours or so south and east of Raleigh.

Are there any local meet-ups in that area? What about other areas of the state? Majors or smaller tourneys in the state?

I mostly play Melty Blood, but I'm gonna pick up BBCP when it drops. I'll prolly pick up a new game just to play people though, cuz I know that not many people play Melty.

You're pretty far away from most of us, but this might give you an idea of who's closest to you (in terms of games).

AH3- Raleigh (5-6 players) Charlotte (Dollar) Morrisville (shinsoBeam)

Blazblue- we have players in.... Raleigh (5-6 players), Fayetteville (Crosell), Charlotte (Dollar) Elizabeth City (Darkness Jin)

MBAACC- Raleigh (3-4 players) Greenville (Pacstrife) Morrissville (ShinsoBeam) Boone (1 Narcowski)

KOFXIII (bunch of people in Raleigh)

As for meetups. We usually have them in Raleigh and/or Fayetteville.

What about things like majors in the state? Texas has things like Texas Bar Fights that happen several times a year. Anything like these in NC? Where do they happen at?

yeah, you can find SF4/UMvC3 players everywhere throughout the state. Persona isn't played in NC, though people do sometimes have a casuals setup for it at tournaments. :V

We have a few events. Rockem Sockem (aka ReSe / located in Charlotte /monthly), Carolina Clash (aka CC / in Raleigh / monthly), Wednesday Night Brawl (aka WNB / in Raleigh / weekly.... or bi-weekly for Blazblue/anime games), and KDP (located in Fayetteville / twice a year or so).

Yeah good games Eric / Dominique. Really enjoyed the long set of matches we had. Definitely one of the more enjoyable WNB's in terms of BB.

Yeah, GGs to Eric and Rob. Been a long time since I enjoyed BB that much and it felt good to grind out matches. Now I have some direction again so I guess I'll be in the lab a bit more. :P

Me. I swear, I wish I knew why we can't netplay. Granted, my NAT type's 3 but I've done everything in my power to get it to 2. Trying to play with the handful of other people I usually do isn't a problem. /lesigh

Yeah, i wonder if there's anything more I can do. I thought my PS3 was pretty much already fully exposed since I have the DMZ on my router set for it.

Might be able to at least play over the next couple of days since I went home for the fourth (still be at WNB of course), though my ping won't be as good as I'd like it to be since I'll be on wireless for a change. :/

Well, checking out the TH facebook page it looks like it might turn out to be out arcade edition tomorrow (i.e. casuals). Since I couldn't stay as long as I would've liked to last time I really would like to go but I know that it's an off week for the majority of us. If anyone happens to feel like going and wants to grind matches with me tomorrow just lemme know. Shoutouts to NAT 3 preventing me from netplaying errol :\

Yeah, I've done everything I can on my end as far as router settings go so I've been trying to get in touch with the ISP. Plugging my PS3 straight into the ethernet port in my room doesn't help, so I'm guessing my ISP blocks traffic on ports besides the necessary oned for internet. But yeah, I'd be at WNB for BB with my setup.
