hahaha shit happens.

long, I'm too lazy to check the dizzy thread, and everything I remember about dizzy came from you anyway, so a couple of questions:

1. I've been using a dust combo based off what I recall you doing. 5D j.H s-bubble j.S(pop) land j.[K]SSD(2) bubble airdash back. is that right? it works pretty well on most characters but I have a bit of trouble with it on lights

2. corner throw... 2K f.S icicle on mid/lights and f.S 5H icicle on heavies? sometimes I get 2K c.S by accident on lights.

3. your corner mixup after knockdown: fish (k, p) dash meaty 2K (fish bite) dash 2K c.S (fish bite) tk s-bubble airdash stuff?

4. icicle frc in the corner -> iad j.2S j.H land j.KSSD? are there weight class restrictions? j.H whiffs sometimes

5. 2S is amazing. but is 6P useful for anything?

will: mashing hard enough on 2H? come back this weekend, I didn't get a chance to play you. and see if you can talk chuck into playing bridget again. if he's willing to play arthur in marvel I don't see why he wouldn't.

On the evening of Monday, June 6th, 2011, during Sony's 2011 E3 press conference, Kazuo Hirai took the stage, at which time he performed a deep bow to the audience, produced a tanto blade from his jacket, knelt before the audience, apologized for the dishonor he has caused Sony due to the recent security breaches, then committed seppuku in front of a live crowd. He was unable to be resuscitated and died on stage.

We need Chuck and his hyperbole on the Nintendo announcements.

Speaking of Chuck, I haven't heard from him in forever since he stopped posting on here. If his burning hate could be construed as salt, then truly he should be the master of it, since he's a chemical engineer. He could take on a supervillain name (sadly, plain old "Salt" is already taken by an Angelina Jolie movie) related to it.

THE MAN KNOWN AS CHUCK IS NO MORE

THERE IS ONLY CHRYSTALLINE

I just finished the 3rd Phoenix Wright.

Now I know why Dahlia wasn't such a total bitch to Phoenix.

Now I know why Godot's theme sounds so classy yet very sad.

Now I know why Elise Deauxnim's theme song sounds too serene and mystical for a minor character.

THE BITTER TASTE OF TRUTH.

Mike:

1. I find starting off the corner dust combo with j.H a little unreliable. I always go for j.D, let the two hits in, then summon either an S or K bubble (I'm pretty sure I use K bubble). As you drop, hit your opponent with j.H (which also pops bubble). This should give you enough time to do any jump combo, then end off with j.D or bubble. If you end your jump combo with j.D and fall straight down, you can sometimes do a sj.D while they're teching in air for a sneaky surprise attack.

If you start off with j.H, you might as well FD cancel your auto jump before you use j.H. This does two things: it sets you up for burst baiting, and it launches you forward slightly. For the burst bait, FDing will naturally block a burst-- and it'll also put you in the correct position if you wanted to do a burst-air-throw counter (if your opponent bursts right away after you dust). The forward momentum FDing gives you can also set you up for some bubble loop action (when you fall, you're slightly forward, so when you summon a spear, it'll hit them on the way up). For some reason, doing this was more reliable in #R than it is in AC... I don't have AC around so I can't really confirm any of this, but I'm sure I'm right.

2. Corner throw combo is character/weight specific for sure. The most important part of your throw combo is getting the untechable knockdown... For Sol / Order-Sol, it's 2k, f5s, spike (pretty sure this applies to Eddie too). For Johnny, don't move, f5s to spike. For light characters, I was too lazy to learn the timing or combos... So I just did a delayed ice-spike alone to guarantee a knock-down.

3. My muscle memory corner mix-up is knockdown, K-P fish, run in meaty 2k, K-fish bite, run in 2k, c5s, jump-cancel, on the way down j.2s, S/K-bubble, air-dash into fast j.2s, then air-dash cancel j.2s, j.HS into ground combo. At ANY point during this block string, you should be able to combo into a knock-down combo for rinse and repeat action (with the exception of getting hit by the bubble). There's that newer block-string that opens up with the IAD j.2s, too. I don't use it because I haven't really practiced it. It's also not so reliable because the meaty j.2s doesn't always hit, and when it doesn't hit, your timing gets screwed up. I'm pretty sure it'll miss most of the time if your opponent is crouching too (so when you're playing newer DIs who want to be all fancy with the IAD shit, just crouch block... it'll most likely NOT hit, and not hitting really screws up block string timing!!). Again, no AC to test this out, but I'm 95% sure about this.

4. Yeah, that FRC combo comes from #R days, where j.H came out faster. You can probably just do a delayed-dropping j.2s into 5s, jc air combo. Also it's probably more effective as a mid-screen combo, since you could do easier frc corner combos that can give you knockdown.

5. I find that 2S can more often clash than anti-air (but it is a great anti-air). 6P gives you huge upper body invincibility and wall-stick, I believe. I think 6P is a more reliable AA than 2S. Also, if you're not fast with the 2S, crouching down to the 2 position will make you vulnerable to air attacks... another reason you may use 6P instead of 2S.

One of my tournament match vids showcases a lot of what I just said actually...

At one point, I use that dust-FD-jump-in-j.HS thing to bait a burst... the guy didn't burst, but you can see that I could have just continued my combo, no problem.

Actually, the knight can fuck all you nigs. Thief and Wizard die like little bitches without the knight to kick you guys to the checkpoint.

I saw GG talk and smiled =D

inorite?

pete: knight's all yours. I do remember that one time when you had that slick box kick with the wizard standing on top that led to the wizard surfing over lava to a checkpoint. it'd be nice if they gave the knight an independent movement option though, like the ability to do a superjump or something.

battlefield 3 tank gameplay. game looks sweet
