sweetvids Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 There's a MVC3 tournament happening at E-Spot. Apparently most of the players are ass, but a few are really good like the Mags that took out Clarence makes Mike's apartment look like handicapped kids with our arms chopped off.
ghostgoodboy Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 haha after the teams', AIR and derek and some others came asking where we roll, and then now more people know about Mike's apartment. props to Clarence kept his composure most of the time except a few moments where he choked up by adrenaline, most people don't know how to deal with his stuff and there were definitely a lot of salt (not so apparent because nobody knows Clarence lol). It's gold to see Clarence get so worked out and started feeling himself after landing some American's FavCombo, trembling bills by Parkinson hands. Overall, Mike's apartment rocks. But Wu and Peter definitely have a lot of homework to do, at least keep it up till JJJ comes. fuck, could've walked away with $230+ if I cancelled my grapple in singles, that freaking random guy. face punch.

Ray with the multiple yomi layers taking down samson's phoenix in team finals was hilarious. Recap: Ray plays bitch runaway with Hulk against 5 meter phoenix in last 20 seconds. Opponent activates xfactor in response to regain health lead (probably about 2/3 health gained back). Ray continues to turtle until about 3 seconds when he lands a gamma crush that does JUST enough damage to clinch the match without turning her into DP. Actually I dunno about the grapple. None of the followups are hyper-cancellable so maybe even on block that move isn't hyper-cancellable anyways. but yeah I definitely don't have the tournament composure that Ray and a lot of the others at the tourney had. After teams I was pretty much a wreck but shit was hype. You had to be there to see it.

It was so much in my chest that I tested it out as soon as I got home and you can for sure can cancel it on hit/block/whiff... makes me more sad, but gotta move on.

I was counting on clock when the other guy had phoenix with 5 bars, so I just super jumped all day with j.h which hovered myself in the air a little bit longer. I was luring him to go 100% rush down and he did go x-factor before turning into DP. Then at one point I saw him did the air stomp when I was directly below him, I s.m with super armored into luncher just to get his heath to a point where one extra hit will make him DP and regain all HP back and I'd lose. intense shit.
