I'm still looking. So far I'm looking at Tsubaki, Mu, Lambda, Jin... I was thinking Hakumen in CS but damn, I feel bad for Hakumen players. For a while subbed Lambda for some time but then dropped her and started messing around. Something inside of me always wanted to sub Mu, I was never very open about it. I like the movement she has, the pokes, the Steins, and her Eng VA is amazing. I could be content spamming the Origins over and over again. In general I just like Mu and Lambda's sleek design and movesets (inb4 dat ass comments). Honestly though I haven't put a lot of work in another character. I'd kind of like to have a character that's a contrast to Bang, to put me in another mindset. I struggled enough with CS1 Bang to even bother trying too hard on some other character.

And Dai I did a quick minute scan of the guide, all seems good but I think Bang has five primers now. Closing remarks made me smile a bit.

Holy shit, CS2 is just kicking my ass right now. Trying to get out of the habit of going auto mode with CS1 combos, keep doing damn 2c and hoping it will go with 2b after.

Good stuff on the guide Dai.

Same about the auto-pilot thing, it's taking me a bit of time to adjust to Bang not having to try that hard to suddenly having to think before I hit 5a or 5b; I can get away with it in random player rooms, but when I face players equally skilled or more skilled than me it takes a good few matches to adjust leaving me looking like a scrub. I wish arcsys had kept 2c untechable, short enough so that 2b can't pick them up, but long enough so we can connect the old CT combo 2c>6d>SUPER CRASH

there are a couple things wrong with your guide:

bang has 5 primers

bang's 5C hits overhead on frame 24,but its first active frame is on frame 18

a note that bang's 6A is useful for frame traps (not required but :3 )

bang's 6C is not actually overhead (i went in training mode and fuzzied into it, and it didn't hit overhead)

bang's jD autoguards mids too

i think you should also note that bang's 5A and 6A are very useful for tick grabs (not the command grab that shit is garbage!)

I used 5A 5B for everything in CSI, now I actually got to use 2A now. In CSI I hardly ever used 2A for confirms.

Time to go practice and get outta that habit I guess. Might as well go practice some combos too and update that post of mine.

It'd probably be good to learn FRKZ now as well.

Bang is and always will be my favorite, and I'm too used to playing him to drop him. I do mess with other characters but its always back to Bang.

I'll probably update my combo thread post too. I can't do some FRKZ stuff like 2D dash 5C and all that (whatever that combo is). I need help Huey.

Trying to figure out how many J.4Cs fit into a FRKZ combo is amusing.

I tried makoto, and just liked her flashy combos. But my heart will always burn for bang.

Bang now feels like he's a ct 2.0 of himself. Not a lot of combo potential mid screen, but is a beast in the corner.

I do miss 2c though, such as 2c to daifunka or 2c j.236c etc

it's never a bad thing to have a few basics in any combo vid. you never know who you might interest by doing so...

i don't know why people say it alot but,

CS2 bang really doesn't feel anything like CT bang imo.

feels wayyyy more like CS1 bang but weakened.

I think its because of his mid screen play. Ct bang couldn't really follow up after his 6d super crash... And if he was able to, it was usually when fighting cat 1 chars.
