K2 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 (edited) depends if you're playing to win or just playing to have fun. for me, i'm just playing to have fun, so i pick individual characters without caring whether the team will turn out nice. I doubt I'd be joining any MVC3 tourneys, just playing casuals is good enough for me. Unless I happen to casually beast and MVC3 becomes free money of course. But i doubt that'd happen. And yes, this game is more fun than AH3. At least I'm spending 10 minutes to do the mission mode combos instead of looking on the wiki, find the combo, do it, and it does 80% life. I'm still so disappointed about AH3. i play to win, if i know i will not be joining tournament and have a chance to win. i won't bother playing the game. but before that, i need to like the game before i can win... why trying out stuff b/c is new? don't think u can actually try out anything useful, or only a limited of stuff, just wait for a while and youtube some video and copy it unless trying out stuffs is that fun, if u play for fun then is ok, but u look retarded. like the classic " i will try my own stuff instead" here is the flow chart for fun customize ur team>spend time trying stuff>play the game>stuff doesn't work>time wasted>joy and this one is the flow chart to win wait>copy the good stuff online> play the game>win> copy more>improve more>win>come up with ur own stuff>lose to scrub>salty>imrprove more trying ur own stuff with a brain>win tournament Edited February 15, 2011 by K2

K2 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 ya, i was watching at the link tofu posted. the animtion looked awesome, and each attack give u a stunning impluse effect. which is really great. the new kinda 3d ( is it 3d?) design is creative. i would say goodjob capcom for breaking though. i donno about the game system since i havn't played the game. looks like i cant really use "no charater love = no fun" for this game yet. hopefully is not a mvc2 reborn where tier is everything. but still, i can only play a game where i like the character. if my character is trash and there is no way this cahracter is playable. i will call it a shit game. but looking good so far.

I don't think Zero is top tier. But i must say, the game so far at least combo wise (all im doing) is pretty fun. And Arthur is troll as hell lol

Can't really say much about the Gety part since I don't live in T.O Also Capcom said they will be working on and AE for MVC3. They just wanted to push the console edition of the game first and for most since it reaps the most profit, AE's don't bring in that much income in comparison to console releases according the what's-his-name.

Hermes game plan as the night went on (and I started doing real combos since I'm more comfortable with them later on) became charging meter with his first 2 characters, XFCing when sentinel gets in, then proceed to rape me in 5 hits (i use all the lowest health chars in the game). If i don't die in 5 hits, he will chip me to death with sent's super =\ XFactor's comeback potential is too fucking broken, and sentinel with it doesn't make it any better. What kind of character has an anti air, that has 2 his of super armor and does 60% damage without actually knowing the combo? At the same time, this character has a poke with 2 hits of super armor that also goes into 60% without knowing the actual combo. fuck sent =\ We'll see as time goes on.
