Sounds like you need to create your own funky mix ups to intergrate with your jap oki. 2p, 2p, pause, 6p frc, backslide empty into command grab then 6p frc combo. then switch it up with 2p 2p 2d(hitconfirm) BBU or 2p 2p forward dash commandgrab. If you throw in your own creative wtf oki's, it will make your legitimate oki better. Just dont whore out the WTF oki, and it wont get punished.

I know it sounds noob, but random and wtf is strong. Games been out for like 5 years, your pressure isnt bad, everyone is just used to it.

No offense to Tom, but his pressure and offense in general wasn't too good. He doesn't spam VV but grand viper on wake up. Despite the fact I know how to deal with it in neutral game, on wake up it's different because I have to take into account VV and super. Apparently Jabir is gonna pick up Venom and see how to deal with all this BS, lol.

Worst thing is that I baited wake up super and then Tom mashed GV and I lost because of that T_T

u don't need jabir to help, u can figure it out, u just have to take into account who u are playing aagisnt and apply the right match up to the particular player.

when the player does not have a complete character, u apply player match up

when the player have a complete character u apply character match up

If someone is new to this game and playing half of the chars on your list, they are gonna get rocked too lol. Plenty of examples in toronto.

OS has plenty of ways to get in or poke from distance. And if you have distance, you might as well be charging meter, in which case the opponent will close the distance and do the job for you. Distance is not related to his rank at all. But he is mid tier, I just make him top tier.

Like how many times are you gonna keep doing ground oki, when K summon -> j.K oki is safe from all his 3 options (vv, gv, super). Or you know, you could just block and bait it out... Yeah, zoning is something I rarely do. Any advice on zoning?

- stay back, shoot balls, place balls strategically, hit balls, etc.

- shoot the ball where you think they'll go (horizontal for dash, 28S for jump approach)

- place 2 balls out strategically such that when you hit them, one will cover high areas and the other will cover low areas, leaving little space to avoid

- don't move forward unless escaping corner, stay back and keep them out, forcing them to take risks to get in. keeping them out is key for zoning as well as punishing jump, and dashing attempts when they don't block.

- use pokes to push them back if too close for comfort, guess or hit right, else eat a punish.

loldy, u are at a point where there is no formula you should follow.

ur learning strategy were used to be copy and paste and follow step 123 in order to learn the game.

now you have gain enough level and you are approved.

so from now on just do wtever u think is good and try things out. This will further develop ur style and you will see more opportunities.

just don't throw urself in a hole where u think u donno enough to counter this or donno the proper match for this and that. there is no formula any more, well, not until u are at another stage.
