Nuclear Cheese Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 I intend to be at PWA this Tuesday, but I make no promises. I have work (just like most weekdays ), but it's not far so I should be able to stop by for some time as long as work doesn't leave me feeling slightly dead.

kona Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 I just found out it would take me longer to get there than it would to GU but the idea that there may be anime fighters there does put this at advantage over GU right now. Also, it depends on who drives cuz whoever drives decides where to go.

Nazgul told me the game is a perfect cross of Guilty Gear and Contra. I hope you make out to this fight, we haven't played much lately. Max said he had a great time hanging out with you last week, I hope you had just as much fun. Maybe when they make a new game that is actually based off one of the good Contra games (Contra, SuperC, Contra 3, Contra 4), I'll be interested. Contra Hard Corps was, in all honesty, a shitpile which had no balance between stages and boss fights. I hope you make out to this fight, we haven't played much lately. Max said he had a great time hanging out with you last week, I hope you had just as much fun. It was a fun time. It was mainly GG, but he also gave Inuyasha a quick try. And I showed him my combo videos. Assuming I don't "bleh I'm dead" from work, I'll probably grab a quick byte to eat before heading over, so I won't be there until maybe 7-ish. Hard Corps Uprising is based on Contra Hard Corps in name only (Hell, it's barely even a Contra game, what with stealth missions and melee characters, among other things). It seems more similar to Contra 3 when I look at it than CHC, honestly. You should at least give it a shot before dismissing it like everyone else, which is a shame because it's a really good game.

I'm going to try and get there as close to 5 as I can. we are working on trying to get a number of CRTs to just leave at PWA so we can roll up with our systems only but right now we only have a couple there. just something to keep in mind.
