Vyers Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Just looking at that made me sick. I didn't realize we had a third masochist in our party. . .
INeedGlitch2Win Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 That looks delicious! I sure wouldn't regret beating that kid up and taking it from him. Because THATS worth it.
Light_Nazgul Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 My eyes sting thinking about the bacon maple sundae. Pain fuels growth. Furok grows mighty. The BMS club welcomes you.
Why-Disciple Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 GGs yesterday, very happy I finally got to play Evil Zone, and got 3 people to play Tekken, heh. Also, curious if anyone ended up successfully removing the head from that McDonald's bobblehead.
capsuletoyco Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 holy shit, evil zone..... what a horrible piece of trash that game is. i can never get the 10$ i spend on that thing back. i should have left those loving memories back in the 8th grade.
CrownEmpress Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 EXCELLENT ADVENTURES Suddenly I really feel like coming home :V
komradekraig Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 they only have 2 tv set ups, people need to bring their own stuff. but like i said you can store it there where no one will mess with it. i've been asking around trying to scoop up CRTs from people to have at PWA. So far i've got one biggun that i'll be leaving at PWA so that'll make three. also, arcana heart 3 drops stateside on april 19th. hopefully my voucher I won at PAX East will give me a free copy of the game.
Vyers Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Yo Tim, I'm heading out. I'll see you at gamestop at 5:30
Furok Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I'm not entirely sure if I want to be a part of the BMS club.
INeedGlitch2Win Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Is it bad that I read BMS as BDSM at first? It might be... It might just reveal something about yourself you didn't want anyone around here to know :P Apartment 410 for a "good time" btw
xntrikcat Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Thanks for having me over last night, it was fun meeting Vyers, David, Capsuletoyco, and Max. Just wait until I get a hold of GG and go learn me some dizzy......!! Though, once CS2 comes out i'm going to be into that.... We should all play, gogogogo
capsuletoyco Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 question, when you went to the anime boston tournament, did they have arcade sticks set up or do you need to bring your own.

We should all play, gogogogo Nice meeting you Teak (forgive me if I spelled your name wrong). I'll see if I can find you a Dizzy beginner vid, or at least some good match vids. question, when you went to the anime boston tournament, did they have arcade sticks set up or do you need to bring your own. Typically Anime Boston only has pads available. Bring your stick, and pray that they aren't too afraid of people stealing consoles to allow you to plug it in. Oh man I want that sundae... NO. No you don't. . .
lasercakes Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Hey guys, I made a post maybe 50 pages ago. I never ended up going to a session. I'm still way too busy to make a 50 minute drive for a night session and then wake up early the next day. Is there anyone active within 20 minutes of me? I live in Burlington, Mass and I commute to Lowell for classes, so ~20 minutes from there would also be viable. Currently this what I play online when Lagcalibur IV becomes too frustrating/infuriating for me. Getting molested by trash tactics online is some how less frustrating for me. Probably because I'm ignorant to what can and can't be beaten offline. This also means I can only promise low quality games where you beat me up for the entire session.

We just need players and setups at this point. also, we are looking to teach as many people as we can so we can level up the whole scene.

Just a few more questions: is there a venue fee? How many people do you expect to show? What time?
capsuletoyco Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 no venue fee. no idea on how many people will show up. there will definelty be atleast 7 or 8 to start, hopefully more come out. time is tbd
xntrikcat Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Practically everybody there brought his own stick. Some bummed others, etc, but you can definitely use yours. Make sure you hold on to your stuff though, I brought a pad with my own cable, and someone stole my goddamn cable -_-
kona Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Juan had his TE stolen at AB. DAAAAAAAMN that's grimey.

Make sure you hold on to your stuff though, I brought a pad with my own cable, and someone stole my goddamn cable -_- Agreed. Always keep your stuff on hand, and if you let someone else use it keep a close eye on them, unless its someone you know well enough to trust. Edit: SNES rom suggestions: Illusion of Gaia, U.N Squadron/Area 88, Super Mario RPG, Act Raiser II, Y's 3, Super Mario Kart, Cybernator/ Assault Suits Valken, Phalanx, Megaman X (236 A is so broke in this game) DAAAAAAAMN that's grimey. Ouch that sucks man. On another note: That sounds perfect. Just a few more questions: is there a venue fee? How many people do you expect to show? What time? What time of day is the fight night starting at PWA? Edited April 8, 2011 by Vyers
