Sure his moves look like Slayer's, but the way he goes about his combos is very different. If anything, I'd compare his combo style to EX Chipp or something.

I don't think anyone said that anymore after seeing his gameplay footage, that rumor died quickly. He DOES dress nicely like Slayer though.

Because they are behind him when you throw them, when you release and RC, they'll be behind you but with the throw momentum so your hitbox will get pushed with them. That seems pretty standard, it just looks wonky.

Yeah I tested it on just about everyone as well couldn't get it to work on anyone but those two.

Also, I suppose "awesome" is a bad word to use. Still, I figure a large convention would at least attract a few players worlds better than the average person online or at a small local tournament.

Assuming that there's actual money or a prize involved. There's very little incentive for someone to show up for a tournament that you pay an outlandish fee for and win almost nothing for your efforts. The people entering there will be the people who were gonna go anyway. Usually, those are the people who aren't very good.

Yeah, I'd already read the bits about how they want BB to be more casual orientated and GG is currently on the backburner. Saying they want to dumb down GG though...that's scary. Taking away Slashbacks...ok. FRCs...I kinda liked those, but I'm masochistic. I'm worried that they won't stop there, and I'd hate to see GG become what BB currently is.

Execution barrier or not, i absolutely love being able to drop a projectile without recovery for pressure. Slashbacks, i don't care if they're gone, in fact i would like it slightly better than them being there if only because it would make me not feel bad for not doing them. I also don't really see how they can make it THAT casual with some of the characters in that game. Srsly, how the heck are you supposed to make like eddie an easy character to play? (please arcsys, don't prove me wrong)
