I think we should just host GG/BB/HoN LANs at your place when you're not there. We'll get like a scarecrow and put short hair on it and put like a white polo shirt on it. He'll sit in your same computer chair playing HoN with us. I'm sure Ruben 2 will be a great fountain camper.

Shoutouts to Orrax's Sol for irritating me/making me nervous as usual-- no disrespect <3 I wonder why the Japanese seem to believe SO vs. OR is in Sol's favour? I kind of doubt that, but perhaps I should actually try to learn this match-up someday (LOL at dropping EVERY Jump Install combo)...if I continue to play this game... That baller combo you performed on my Sol was so amazing, that I had to stop and give respect...Despite playing Reload online somewhat regularly, I can easily the improvements in your AC Sol... Sorry about the lazy mirrors...I recame bored/discouraged/too tired using HOS, so I wanted to troll with Troll Badguy, LOL. Sorry about the odd behaviour, been up for around 20 hours... Hey, really, no apologies needed. It's always fun to play your HOS, Sol, or anyone else you play. I also don't know the HOS/Sol matchup that well, although I feel like I'm getting a little better at reacting to things -- I actually managed to block a few Bandit Revolvers this time, haha -- and it seems like a pretty even matchup to me, so I'm not sure either why the Japanese think it's in Sol's favor. Where are you getting the matchup info, by the way? I feel out of the loop in regards to Japanese matchup ratios. Ryuuka - To be honest, I feel the same way sometimes when I play against other Sol players. It seems like a lot of the game is figuring out when to respect his stuff and when not to, since doing either at the wrong time leads to easy damage for him. I find fuzzy jumps help a lot since they make it hard to enforce his low/throw game. You could also try FDing Sol away more. It can really screw up his game if he's out of range for WT or GV. And DI is most useful when Sol has no life left and there are less then 10 seconds left on the clock, or as an obnoxious victory pose.

AH3 looked as awful as AH always has, but if people are gonna play it, i might give it a look... @ emrag, I'll be on campus friday after like 3, and if my senior design group wants to meet at the same time, i'll be on campus wednesday afternoons as well.

Yeah I didn't like the first two, but when this was getting released in arcades, I liked how the redid the mechanics, the physics, and some of the new characters look fun, and the characters I had taken a brief interest in the previous ones look like more interesting now. I got to play it once at Arcade UFO, and it doesn't feel as stiff as AH1 when I played it with Nick 3-4 years ago. I so hope some people give the game a chance, I'll definitely be playing once I get back to the state that doesn't suck. Oh and Jimmy, scarecrow Ruben wouldn't know the mid lane matchups as well as me, sorry.

IMO it's actually quite useful. & Orrax: Sorry, I meant Dragon Install Sekkai (SP?)/HOS'S DI, sorry about not being specific...I am not insulted by regular DI; not even the suicide-DI (which I troll with) <3 As for the source of the match-up ratios, Ky-Sama obtained the "information"/opinions from a Japanese message board, blogs, etc; they were lists/personal diagrams/charts/opinions based on various players' experiences and observances-- she also found some match-up opinions of top players such as Dio, Mint, Ogawa, BLEED, Woshige, etc. When the game was new and HOS was A- - B-tier, most people (on the boards, etc) seemed to believe it was 5-5/even or a slight advantage for HOS, but as HOS dropped to C-tier and players explored the game/characters more, the majority (on the boards, etc) seemed to believe that Sol has a 5.5 or even 6-4 advantage (WTH?!) over HOS, while a few considered it to be 5-5/even-- coming from both HOS and Sol players...Some of them gave examples, based on personal experience, opinions of others & various matches (even while watching actual matches), but a few were random Japanese (apparently) who gave no good reasons. However, IIRC posts seem to become awfully buried and or deleted when they become too old, so it would be hard to find older info now. I am not saying I believe Sol beats HOS simply because many Japanese players believe so, but if so many continue to believe it+give decent examples why, especially more recently; I cannot exactly rule it out, either. They were correct about Johnny beating HOS-- according to Reeido and BLEED's personal diagrams, when I had no idea, LOL (but even Americans know that). Not sure about what americans think about HOS vs Sol, though... Regardless, knowing so little about the match-up, I am not in any position to assume much, and I would rather try actually learning, rather than worrying about the ratios, etc...Besides, HOS has ABA, Zappa, Axl, Faust, Slayer, Potemkin, etc to worry about more... Ray: Awww, too bad...Perhaps you should have asked one of us for a ride before we left? I would have given you one had I know (if you wanted) <3 Having your own car is the greatest thing, ever.
