Maybe I'll have to hear them during actual gameplay before making an impression. Now that Devastation is over is anyone still up for games at my place on Saturday? I want to make it to the UAT tourney, but I still want to invite people over on Saturday evening, since Ruben has to go to a barbeque on Friday.

Relius and the Jin v Tsubaki themes sound kinda meh.......but after listening to the Carl vs Relius.......this makes me want to main either one. It's a really good addition to the BB sound collection. We have funk with Tager, oriental with Litchi and Hakumen, and jazz with Carl. This new versus theme sounds very Spanish/waltz-ish, which once I start hearing it to the gameplay, I'm sure it will rise to the Memory of Tears/White Requiem status in my book. That headbang-ish sound in the beginning, middle and end are what really stand out in my opinion. It's slow, but it brings about some more thoughtful emotions. Also, that solo is SICK! GGs to everyone who went to Devastation! It was hype to see all yall. Sucks that we had to deal with that long delay before getting into some BB, and I wish we got something of a side team tourney going, but it still got hype. I didn't realize so many out of state peeps came to play BB! Catch you guys online sometime later. I'll be in Flag trying to recover from this crazy weekend!

Chumaralupa Posted October 12, 2011 Author Posted October 12, 2011 It's not something I wanna spend a lot.of time with but since we were trying to have fun with Neverwinter nights I figured we could just play through Hellgate instead. I'll bring the installer files to PCP on Wednesday, it looks like there were a lot of improvements and I forgot that the game plays a lot more fluidly than other mmo's. It's fun and I think we would have fun playing through the story as a party. I'm pretty sure I somehow chose the same class I had played 5 years ago without knowing it.

Chumaralupa Posted October 12, 2011 Author Posted October 12, 2011 Well Tommy, me and quite a few others bought the game too back in the day, but now I get a chance to play through the story for my money's worth, so I kinda wanna do it mainly since we were looking for a fun adventure game we could all play through together, and I think this fits the bill quite well. The game feels a hell of a lot less buggy (actually I haven't found a problematic bug yet) and the interface seems a lot better including the chat and friends functionality. I'm not saying I wanna pick up the game for a long term by any means, but it was a fun concept and I'd love to play through the story with people. Oh and if you ever mention Maple Story again Jimmy I think I'll delete this thread.
