Nakkiel Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 It will probably look similar to the CT Ippatsu combo, assuming it even stays in.
vXv RUSH vXv Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 2C-4D-hakuchunhatsu-riichiA-B-6C(1)-4kote-j.BCB loop-corner ender Im so confused by this, how could you do riichiA after a 4D?
Diveman Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 It will probably look similar to the CT Ippatsu combo, assuming it even stays in. yeah, I also remembered that combo, so it might be a viable way of getting the loop. well time will tell, when is the update coming for Ps3?
Nakkiel Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 She's hardly going to be low tier at all. Don't over-react so much, she had some things that were too strong and overall they've been taken care of while a couple of other nerfs have been thrown in. On paper she is still very much playable. And the things you learned are hardly a waste of time. :/ It's very disappointing to see new players not being able to understand how to apply previously learned things to later revisions, different characters, etc.
Nakkiel Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Quit crying over it. Everyone was bawling over CT -> CS changes. Look what happened.

Fugu Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 There is an almost total lack of videos and concrete information for Litchi as far as I can see; is there anywhere that this information is posted (if not here)?
stinkymonz Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 From Lord Knight's post: 5B > 2C > 6D > haku > hatsu > (riichiA > ippatsuA > ippatsuB > land > hatsu) x2 > 6c(1) > 4kote > jBCB > jBCD > jC > 6C > (daisharin?) = 4.1k near corner So, can we assume staffless normals also don't cancel to Itsuu? Don't see a reason why the old Itsuu-A loop couldn't work once you get to the first hatsu. Also, theoretically (word of the day) speaking TK Itsuu combos should still work right? ie 6B[m] TK Itsuu or possibly off 5B[m] or 3C[m].
Urichinan Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 No, they fixed it so she can't TK into Itsuu as well. But... Did I notice that Tsubame combos? Like... LEGIT combos after Tsubame?
ATGMantenbo Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I really wish they brought back tsubame combos; the damage off starter > tsubame doesn't matter, what matters is you carry them to the corner then start the rape.
Lord Knight Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Her BNB uses tsubame, lol. A couple of more changes: 6C[m] is like Rachel's 5CC. 6D got buffed, it's now +3. All throws can lead into itsuu. Ippatsu = 120% prorate, but has same move proration. Will post more later.
Nakkiel Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 "6C[m] is like Rachel's 5CC" You mean it causes slide?
Lord Knight Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Yeah. They're saying 6C > iad JBC is possible. Meaning 5B CH > 6C > iad jBC.
Diveman Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRnDCZwr9EI&feature=sub daaamn forward throw is quite interesting now 1:18
Lord Knight Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) comments: holy SHIT dash D is ridiculous fast now. ch jC seems to act like hakumen's hotaru - i heard he could still combo off it from pretty far, i wonder what litchi could do . . . forward throw is interesting, goes into itsuuB - nice! im already familiar with that route first corner bnb. . . is lacking elegance imo, hopefully they'll discover some cool shit later 6D still looks good airthrow > itsuuC, nice it seems that if you're far and you use tsubame to confirm, that's pretty much it for midscreen (at least as far as staff hitconfirm). its still early though. gonna have to find new ways to confirm everything. . . surprised that fio didnt try 6D after kokushi. go with what you know, i guess. 5D/2D look significantly faster as well holy shit 5D/2D sets are sooooooooo fast 6A looks safe at a distance still 6B looks like it has a bit more blockstun 6C. . .uh. .. woah i think 6b and 6c being more useful will change up her neutral game quite a bit whoa, 6b pushes back pretty far on ground hit fio: "sweet, i know what to do after daisharin!" yay 6B CH wallbounce! overall, looking good! im liking some of the new tools she has. as far as confirming goes, we'll just have to wait and see how she develops. EDIT: SHIT there was a 2nd vid!!!!!! Chun looks like it has significantly more hitstun. I think its p2 is 74% right now, but it makes the dash 2A followup obsolete (which is nice cause that was hard) 6B on air hit. . .weird Nice, 6A is retains its use as a poke - it looks like you can confirm a ch with a combo 6C hit! he only did iad jB, but im sure iad jBC will be the shiiiiit Edited December 15, 2010 by Lord Knight
KD Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 So should we go ahead and post CSII Litchi vids in here, or is it time for CSII Litchi video thread now?
ATGMantenbo Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 OMG 6C pushback is HUGE .. great tool to space with 5b 5c 3c midscreen >> really boring, I wish they discover something better
Nakkiel Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 There should be a combo with 5B 5C 6D, but I don't think that works from max range. And 6C[m]'s pushback is awesome, it's going to make the move really safe to throw out.
Urichinan Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 I wonder if the 4D slide is still there...
Nakkiel Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 Should be. It's quite possible that Fio just forgot about it, he seemed pretty flustered with what to do when he landed hits in general.
Diveman Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 yeah he should be, with all the changes litchi got. I say give the japanese time to figure her out again (which is why I think there arent many litchi videos yet)
