There is also Gameclucks up in Lynnwood. Personally, I don't go up there often since it's too far up north, but maybe it's more suitable for your location.

Hello everyone. I've recently moved to Seattle from Arizona to go to the pharmacy school at UW. I play BB, P4U, Marvel, Melty and so on, but at a mostly casual level.

Welcome Omegashrimp! I've been with the PNW FGC for only a year and this is seriously the best area for anime! We support just about all of them to a competitive level.

Anyway, yes there's a Saturday Slugfest at GameClucks which is a pretty sizeable turnout for attendees. I haven't been to one cause I live far (Olympia), but I hear they're always fun! Actually, there's Thursday Night Fights happening tonight there as well (5-11pm).

For more info, I would join the Facebook group "PNW Airdashers" for local airdasher news and "Shoryuken UW" for your other games. Just make a request to be added and whoever sees it first will add you!

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them here or once you're in the FB groups, make a post and it will be attended to, trust me. Never seen such a lively community. (;

Also, I cleaned up the thread a little.  Moved Huey to the "Defectors" list.  That dirty son of a bi...  Derek to PNW House.  Added Chad <3.  And deleted a bunch of inactive people in our scene.

Well this might sound a little weird, but anyone going to be down to play games in Seattle on Oct. 22. I got a pretty long layover (12 hours ish) and wouldn't mind getting some games in if anyone's interested. 

Rough timeframe below:

 

SEA  11:35am       Layover: 12 h 15 m

 

SEA  11:50pm

 

Heck I'd be even down if someone wanted to come pick me and grab dinner and talk about games (dinner on me of course   ). I could pack my stick for my trip but I really won't need it where I'm going so unless you know you're down for games and don't have a controller to spare, lmk. Letting you know in advance since I can't guarantee I'll have any sort of reliable internet access on my trip

GBZ has monthlies twice throughout every month (1st weekend, final weekend) other than that you'll want to ask around in here or on our Airdashers FB group.

Btw, Wipeout.  I am not sure if anything is planned for December.  Usually we have a meeting at Gamebreakers near where you live in Auburn.  We will have to see.  Other than that, there are meets every now and then at the PNW house.  I am sure the people at the house wouldn't mind having new people over.

So I recently moved to the Seattle area from the east coast, and I want to get seriously into Xrd.

 

I used to be big into Reload/AC, as I traveled multiple hours all the time to play with people and would do well in tournaments.

 

I'm not sure of the scene in this area, but I've got a PS4, past skill and want to jam and learn all the new stuff with other like-minded people

There is a big tournament on Saturday at Highline Community College. If you show up there you should be able to meet up with the scene.
