>_<;; Sorry Dusty and Jason. I thought you guys already knew about the meet at my place.

:) But the meet was fun. Thanks for coming over. >w< Also super props to Joe, Jais, and Stark for giving money for Aki-con.

Another note- 3 splitters disappeared. :( Did anyone pick them up? They're small (black?) square things with goldish prongs. If you have them, please contact me or Derek. They were downstairs on or by the couch when they disappeared.

Yo everyone, not entriley sure if I'll be able to make it to Aki Con anymore, they've shutdown hard on leave for new people and if I wanna go I'd basically have to use up all 5 of my leave days and possibly give up some stuff, I'll know for sure tomorrow :psyduck:

Hella late but Happy Birthday Munsu~

Thanks for hosting Rebecca! It was a lot of fun. Although, I seem to have missed you every time you cooked something :(

I still need people's numbers/when they're available for casuals on the weekend~ So far I have Jais and Blargster. Remember guys, me and the guy I'm bringing will have nothing to do for 3 days. If anyone's available Saturday before 7pm, Sunday any time, and/or Monday any time, gimme yo numbers so I can call you up for casuals.

^_^ Ok. Uh... you can drop by sometime today if you want to pick it up. During the school week I get back home kinda late (unless you want to swing by my house after 6-7pm).

Heya Jais - Sweet. Thanks too, Spark.

Sorry to inconvenience you, since my room situation fell apart (still semi-peeved). I'm assuming you'll be heading down to Aki too, then? I'll work out how much money to throw your way or buy you meals / drinks or something.

Munsu - are you heading to Akicon? If you have room I can get up to battlegrounds and help split gas/parking. Otherwise I'm just going to greyhound it.

that works~

will you be staying for all 3 days? cuz I'm planning on getting there Friday around noon and going back around Sunday evening

Hey guys, who's familiar with the Hilton Bellevue area?

I'm hitting up Akicon, but I wanna get some good eats while I'm at it.

Posted

If you're dropping by Bellevue mall there's a place that sells some mutant hybrid between pizza and cake. Rather excellent stuff.

In other news, hello thread.

Woah. Pizza-cake. That sounds awesome. :3 Anyway, welcome~ You should totally come to Aki-con November 6th (just don't forget to pre-register). We're doing an awesome tournament.

Update: All my paranoia has paid off, we are now on the Aki-con schedule. >_>

That sounds good. I got the weekend pass, and I don't care when I leave, as long as I get back eventually.

I was going to actually write an article but I didn't have enough pictures to cover everything that happened for GG, so this will have to do.

mo1.jpg

So this is Momo, the venue where SB:R took place. I think it's mainly a cafe but it pretty much has everything. I can't really explain. One thing I can say for sure is that they have really good bubble tea.

mo2.jpg

I got there on Friday night and people were already playing GG casuals. Oh, I see one of twins in the picture.

mo3.jpg

All of those tvs in the picture (and we had like 2 more, I think) were used for the GG tournament later, and one thing I really liked about SB:R was that we got our own area just for GG. Thanks a bunch to whoever's responsible for this.

mo4.jpg

This is the main hall where SSF4 was set up. There were just so many people. Luckily, people never blocked the way to the bathroom.

mo5.jpg

The best thing about SB:R was that they closed at 3am (supposedly), meaning you could really play all you wanted. I was going to play Tekken a little, but I had to play GG... you know.

mo6.jpg

Another thing about SB:R was, because they stayed up so late (till like 4am? Man... those Marvel/SSF4 players...), things got delayed so much the following day... The store just wouldn't open on time, lol.

mo7.jpg

The GG tournament was very competitive. There were so many strong players and the bracket wasn't that big, so you ended up playing against really good players early on. This one's Hellmonkey vs Cue, which happened very early in the tournament.

mo8.jpg

This is JackG vs MikeZ, as if it was a color match. Btw, so far I've seen 4 players who'd only pick that green color.

That's pretty much it. After I got eliminated in the singles, I just kept playing casuals, so there's no more picture and I didn't get to stay for finals.

Btw, GG was pretty hype at SB:R with StickBug around, OMG. :thumbu::thumbu:

Am I the only one that finds this hilarious? The fact that they had to put it in their terms and policies?
