However, they usually/often do search your baggage (ESPECIALLY when you have a console or joystick in your carry-on or backpack), so it would be best to keep it on top of your other items/leave your bag open so they can easily see it...

I had a blast last year, looking forward to it again. I can't sleep cause the hype, and I got a plane to catch! About the planes though, I'm thinking of putting the PS3 in my luggage and stick for carry on. I'll try and let them know I have the stuff beforehand maybe to make sure they understand. Also, we need at least one system for Blazblue with the DLC characters on it, ideally 3 or 4 systems. If anyone can help out with this it would be appreciated. FUCK YA just one more day HYPE!!! If it's in a carry on bag, you may need to remove it from your bag at the metal detectors, just like you would with a laptop. Once I didn't do that and they pulled me aside to swab my PS3's vents for traces of explosives. That only took a a few minutes though so even that wasn't a big hassle.

I will be working with the FR staff to help streaming. Thank you to all of those who donated, your money was definitely put towards equipment that will help the stream look and run smoothly. Blazblue and Guilty Gear will have dedicated time slots for their respective days played. Top 8 will also be run on the FR channel. Having it this way will provide you guys with the best quality matches and viewing.

FunkyP Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Sorry guys that ggac brackets didnt get streamed, tekken ran really long, I was deep into my marvel pool and gg finished before I was. Tomorrow we will be streaming top 8 for bbcs, ggac, and mbaa though make surw to watch that.

Despite being sick/getting wrecked in the brackets, I had a great time and definitely plan to come by again next year. Hopefully I'll have leveled up my game by then. Any of you guys that live in or near Atlanta and didn't show up really missed out on an awesome event. Special mentions to: Ivysaur/Isuyaru - For taking the victory home not only for the ATL, but for America by beating Tokido! Funkyp - for providing some great streaming for both Guilty Gear and Blazblue both at this tournament and on a weekly basis. Jewdo - for knocking my sorry ass out of the tournament. Hit me up next time you're in ATL and I'll pay you back that 5 bucks I owe you LOL. Guardian - for being the best Valkenhayn player I've seen so far and a generally cool dude. Had a blast at Fogo de Chao with you and the others! Shinblanka - for holding such an hype, fun, and well run tournament full of great games and great people. You best BELIEVE I'm comin' back next year! The rest of the ATL Blazblue players - for generally being awesome.
