you really shouldn't try to block wolf mixup, thats like trying to block rachel ja

ja is safe before during and after lol.

sorry to break the news but if you cant react to rach's ja in the future youre going to have problems.

you realize it's humanly impossible to consistently react to rachel's j.A mixup right

I suggest mountain training. Preferably in a group where we find out the meaning of teamwork during a montage.

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell...

nah lol, it is very hard and its a no risk/huge reward mixup (3k + pole and frog oki), but... well, idk if she wiffs shes safe but thats -1 wind... l suppose its something at least :I

fortunately though, rachels new combos are much harder than theyve ever been. unless youre fighting a GDLK rachel in cs2, you have nothing to worry about.

shit, if you fight a gdlk rachel, let me know who it is! lol

Arc sys: "We realized letting Rachel get her j.A back was kind of a dick move, so it's P1 is now 50. Have a nice day!"

we still get 3k though + corner carry + oki you must tech neutral + oki that cant be dp'd (for the most part) + significant wind regen

from a 12 frame overhead that cant be poked through or dp'd through and STILL leaves us safe, not to mention its perfect to set up the j.b fuzzy shiz once the foe starts blocking it

there will be lolz.

I understand that, letting the Valk get rolling is playing right into the Valk's hands. I'm just being ragy, illogical, and not reading what other people are writing. Sorry for snapping earlier *bows*

we are both cool bro. i was being stupid too :3

lol rachel players (why can't you just react to it)

12 frames is pretty damn fast. It's reactable to, but considering the fact that 20+ frame overheads get past people's guards, I doubt everyone will consistently be able to block it on reaction. I, personally, am going to get hit by it a lot. Like, every time it's thrown out :vbang:

is there a player out there who can react to 12 frames?? I'm super curious so please tell me who are the players you're thinking of with that reaction xP

12 frames is unreactable, unless you're a computer. The fastest reaction time I've ever heard of was about 13-14 frames, and that was probably measured with a simple button test, where a light turns on and the person hits a button. I doubt anyone can react to a 12 frame overhead unless their name is The Flash.

I'm saying that 12 frames is technically reactable to, in the sense that human reaction time can reach 100 miliseconds (6 frames; stupid human eyesight brings it up to ~10-12 frames), so there are technically people with a fast enough reaction times to get there. For 99% of us humans? Unreactable.

You also need to factor in that reaction tests are usually 1 obvious change without any other distractions, which clearly doesn't apply to fighting games.

There's that, I was just saying that under the assumption that the one and only thing you're looking out for is the j.A instant overhead. Kinda stupid and impractical, but I like stupid and impractical theoretical voids, they keep me from getting too depressed over how much I'll get hit by it.
