Also jin doesn't even need an overhead. lt's all about pressure. His 5c being nerfed is sadface, but he looks far better off anyway. (although, making 6a entirely useless is eh too...)

i think the primers are a significant change, if most people are down to 5 now, one burst and youre at 2, thats pretty easy to break. so that means people are going to drain their barrier keeping from getting broken, bringing danger back into play or get guard crushed which will lead to much more painful combos. the no proration helps everyone and the no grab tech makes tager breaking a guard worthwhile! (i was so sad the first time i got purple !!s grabbing off of guard crush in CS!)

i like that it brings the to burst or not to burst mentality from CT back to a degree (not as bad as it was in CT though, thank god) because bursting puts you in a scarier position (and double bursting will leave everyone at 1 primer except tager who gets to keep 2)

Bursting shouldn't be the free get the near get out of jail cards that it is now, with the changes you will be putting yourself more at risk and given you can do more stuff to a guard crushed opponent it becomes risky to use... much more so twice in one round so beware those who like to stock their burst for last round no matter what.

I love breaking primers using Tsu's 22C/236C and Valk using his 6C/236C so it's already a part of my strat after my opponent bursts. This will make it even more intricate part of my tactics in the overall scheme of things.

Jin's new 6A is shit

now is the new 6A actually better than the old one? It might be, but it's too early to say.

6A is not cancelable but its attack level went up, its hard to say whether this is a buff or nerf, i think it works as Order-Sol's 2HS now

By the way psycofang, regarding Jin's 623C...it says on the ground it's "unairtechable"...does that mean you can hit it with 5C again?

Nerf damage during lag? Are you retarded? That means you want to add another thing to the games engine during online play that causes MORE lag because its trying to calculate things. Blade please just delete your account.

5C has huge enough range that a bit of range decrease won't really affect it. As for 6A, Jin's never needed an overhead to be broke, I don't see why he suddenly needs one now.

5C already had shit range, and how would 6A be broke with a special cancel? it's not like everyone else has a way to make their overheads safe on block/continue pressure. It's standalone damage isn't even very good....

there really was no reason to make it nonspecial cancellable.

though maybe it won't be shit, maybe it does like 1K on hit. *shrug*

relative to his hittable box, yeah it did.

granted 5D is now fast and has a gdlk hitbox, so I guess it evens out.

tagers 4D makes his overhead safe and he can continue pressure.

also hazama's overheads are very safe.

overall these changes seem weird. its like theyre trying to slowly but surely change the mechanics of the entire game. and it looks as though tsubaki and makoto are now in a race to see who can hit rock bottom first. :vbang:

hopefully theyll fix this next test.

I think he means hitting it out of startup, which is doable, but easier said than done.

I thought about this, but that is hard.

Especially since I don't recall Ara 5A being very effective against it, and that'd be ara's only tool to actually hit him out of it besides reversal spider.
