MasterMind Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 About the whole BCD air unblockable except when barrier'd thing....does that include overheads (like Ragna's new 5D(2))? Jump-barrier blocking to avoid overheads isn't really fun for me.Newest info has said that either a character's 5b or 5c will be air "unblockable". All the stuff about D moves was just speculation. We really don't know a whole lot right now.
Henaki Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Welcome to Dustloop friend. There's punch, pie, loc test info, and a primer on how blade will say things you are sure must be trolling, but are in fact him being serious. Watch, laugh, cry if you feel the emotion of pity, and move on to the relevant info. In other news, is the loc test finished already or is there more to come sunday in terms of info/playtesting? Loketest is 23 + 24th (according to the dengeki article with platina i believe) so we should have more to come starting in a few hours.
Mumm-Ra Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 So about 5B or 5C being air unblockable, what about characters that already have one of these moves with AUB properties? Example being Bang's or Arakune's 5C.
eirei Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Guard crush prorate 100% on first hit only, 80% for the rest (from last loketest? clarified now) No, this is new. What's been misinterpreted in the last loketest was the gold burst proration, which is 0.7 raw/1.0 midcombo.

TheEssWord Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Lol @ Carl's 8D breaking 2 primers. I used to think Fermata was special for breaking 2. Also, someone posted that Fuoco's new input is 236D. Don't know how true that is. Oh sorry, I meant Folka.
Skye Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 No, this is new. What's been misinterpreted in the last loketest was the gold burst proration, which is 0.7 raw/1.0 midcombo. That sounds really good, the bursting mid combo part, I wonder how this affects same move penalties.
Spirit Juice Posted October 24, 2010 Author Posted October 24, 2010 Shut up, you fucking faggots. Get back on topic.
Klaige Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 So gold burst has no proration in a combo in this test. What is the proration mid-combo right now if anyone knows?
Mumm-Ra Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 So gold burst has no proration in a combo in this test. What is the proration mid-combo right now if anyone knows? 80p1 80p2

9TNine Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 5th test tomorrow? lol! hope to see ragy changes...and hope to see lambda Tk.saber back, or at least her 6c... note: thank good that thing of "D" moves as "air-umblock." not been true...lambda-hazama would bee too broken... Not a 5th test. Continuation of 4th test. Same build. -9
Stafy Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 So, if this is the last test, does BBCS2 have a set release date, and will that come out simultaneously with the balance patch for PSN/XBL?
iamkitkatbar Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 So, if this is the last test, does BBCS2 have a set release date, and will that come out simultaneously with the balance patch for PSN/XBL? Dec 9th, Maybe not for crash-box-three-fixme's because Microsoft wants to charge money for a free "balance" patch
Stomoman Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Microsoft wants to charge money for a free "balance" patch I hate them with all of my hate.
AdamNW Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Dec 9th, Maybe not for crash-box-three-fixme's because Microsoft wants to charge money for a free "balance" patch Care to cite that? And they could just charge a dollar or something for it.
Tofu Warrior Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 crash-box-three-fixme's I've actually never heard that before, so I applaud you for your creativity, but I still hate you so very much.
unsanctifier Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Dec 9th, Maybe not for crash-box-three-fixme's because Microsoft wants to charge money for a free "balance" patch Wtf, where'd you hear this?
Amadeus46Art Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Wtf, where'd you hear this? I know Microsoft has a policy where if the DLC has any achievements that comes with it, it has to have a price. That's why Valve has trouble with them and L4D/L4D2, but as long as there's no achievements tied to the balance patch there shouldn't be a problem.
unsanctifier Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Well if Plat is coming in it...FacK. They could do the same thing they did with Makoto, simul. release with the update. But only unlock on purchase. It will probably be the solution. Wait, no, that's logical. It ain't gonna happen. "Ain't" isn't redlined, hmm.
AdamNW Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 So, no new info? We should probably stop posting:8/:
PLZSIC Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 That makes perfect sense, wtf are you talking about? You didn't read the part where he said "that's logical", obviously. Anyhow, the Carl changes look great, and Platinum being virtually untouched is a godsend. Looking forward to what all-around changes are in store for us.
