HiagoX Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 By the way, Mu got a new loop. 236A, 6C, 5D, 236A, 6C, 5D...
FlyingVe Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 By the way, Mu got a new loop. 236A, 6C, 5D, 236A, 6C, 5D... I have to ask. DId you mean 214D by any chance (instead of 236A)? Either way, cool.
HiagoX Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 I have to ask. DId you mean 214D by any chance (instead of 236A)? Either way, cool. Oh yes, I'm sorry. I meant 214D. Habaya and Habakiri, fuck names. * ハバキリ>6C>5D>ハバキリ>6C>5Dとループ可能。 EDIT: I'll be translating everything to English in a few moments.
Grey Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 But now they might slow down 214D again to kill the loop in the final product because they hate loops.
FlyingVe Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Also, do you know how many reps? And yes, I hate japanese attack names too, can't ever keep them straight.
HiagoX Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 All of these changes are listed in the wiki, and some of them have been already informed to us by General Nantoka. - 2B > 6A is not possible anymore. - 2C has ~11 startup frames? - Gauntlet Hades: causes slight ground bouncing. - Gauntlet Hades follow-up: opponent flies higher, more untechable time, can follow with High Jump and air combo. - Dead Spike: more untechable time when hits the opponent in the air, more hitstop (same as Unlimited Ragna?) - Belial Edge: Level has been reduced, less untechable time. - Carnage Scissor: more recovery time on the second hit, it lasts up until the opponent touches the floor. - 4BC: More proration. - 6BC: Does not cancel into anything. - Yukikaze: Stays for a longer time in his counter position. (buff or nerf, who knows?) - Throw: More proration. - 4D > 6A combos? (not confirmed) - j.236D: The fog moves slower. (not confirmed) - 236D: A possible new loop with "3C > 236D > 3C > 236D..."? (not confirmed) - Zan'eiga: you combo with 6C after it. - Gasaishou: In corner, "236C > 5B > 3C > 236D > 5C..." is possible (not confirmed) - 236A: "214D > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6C > 5D..." Loop - 63214C: More untechable time - New Combo: 236A > Dash > 2B > 3C > 2B > 5C > 6C
farranpoison Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 This feels like CT again. Less reward for blocking, more reward for rushdown. Tager's gonna get screwed.
Skye Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Midscreen rush down actually reaps little reward.
A.X.I.S. Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 no he's not, if someone is rushing tager down then they are bound to get hurt. tager can deal with rush down, he just can't deal with zoning.
Henaki Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 no he's not, if someone is rushing tager down then they are bound to get hurt. tager can deal with rush down, he just can't deal with zoning. that is so wrong it is not even funny im sorry.
mAc Chaos Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 no he's not, if someone is rushing tager down then they are bound to get hurt. tager can deal with rush down, he just can't deal with zoning. Really? I always thought some characters could rush down Tager all day and rape him anyway, like CT Jin. He pretty much lost on everything :P
killionaire Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 no he's not, if someone is rushing tager down then they are bound to get hurt. tager can deal with rush down, he just can't deal with zoning. Uhh.. Ya sure you're thinking straight today?
A.X.I.S. Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Uhh.. Ya sure you're thinking straight today? no I'm not, I haven't had a good amount of sleep and sugar.
FlyingVe Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Tager can deal with bad play, poorly spaced projectiles, and gaps bigger than 3 frames. And even then... Though I am happy to see some of his stuff getting buffed, he still has some fundamental problems.
Ownagepuffs Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 So the CSII reactions go as follows. Jin, Rachel and Carl mainers- :D Ragna, Litchi and Bang mainers- :/ Everyone else- >:O Cool.
Urichinan Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 I was just thinking, maybe Hazama could do 5B > 3C > 236D > 5D~D > etc. That could open up a lot of combo opportunities!
smooshman Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 6BC does not cancel into anything ....okay, w/e.... still looking good for jin, his corner game looks about the same and his midscreen game looks better.
zdravkelja Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Yeah. I expected that Much characters can still start combo midscreen and push them to corner to continue that combo. Hazama can't. And lol at Jins forward throw not being cancelable

Not quite. I think Noel fared quite well through these loketests. Started a little bad, but got better. Sure she lost haida, but she does more damage now so her other BnBs that are still intact are more effective. However... - 4D > 6A combos? (not confirmed) Confirmed or not, this doesn't really make sense. 4D is a chain revolver attack, which means that the 6A follow-up would be her chain revolver 6A and all chain revolver attacks can link into each other freely already (at least that's how I've remembered it), sooo exactly what's up with this change? Not that I care too much since I don't use chain revolver very often outside of combos, but still that change seems silly because it's not a change at all unless they mean the 4D combos into her normal 6A now which sounds like DELICIOUS potential for a new combo starter on counter hit. If someone wants to enlighten me on that change a little more, than please do so.

I don't know if it is her normal 6A or her chain revolver 6A.
Alzarath Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Yeah. I guess this is the end of the road for Blade, huh.

I gotta assume it means d.6A, it just doesn't make sense for her Chain Revolver to cancel into a normal like that.
