when they used the term, i guess it was refering to moves that have such good proration that they lead into ridiculous amounts of damage.

noel's 4B

arakune's jC

ragna's 2C

litchi's jC and 2C

taokaka 2C and 6C

and other moves like that

Ragna's 2C? =( thats our only FC.... I cant even whine... we still have jesus kick and ID =D

its 4D and i believe they are trying to get rid of STUPID dmg off certain moves.

litchi's jC isn't really scary until you get CH by it either

5.9k off of Fatal with 50 heat, requires corner.

Totally Broken.

Although since they are killing the haida loop, her FC is pretty much dead to begin with. Why kill it more?

Right now, I'm just enjoying the changes so far just because they are changes. Hopefully this makes playing seem less braindead for most characters, especially Ragna. I also like the 5B/5C being unblockable without barrier in the air. I'll try out everyone, and decide who I'll play as when the patch comes out. I'll stick as Rags most likely, regardless of nerfs, and hopefully I'll find a secondary to play as besides a crappy Tager. :lol:

Uh do you even play Bang? Do you even understand how bumpers work or are you just one of the Bangs that only use D nail and Daifunka? His bumper game just went from gimmicky to beastly now that he can guarantee emergency roll and/or free corner setup.

I know man, I was just being a smartass.

In all seriousness though, if every character maxes out at 4k situational damage matches are gonna need more than 99 seconds, although the new air unblockable stuff will probably make people drain their barrier faster, causing Danger state more often.

how do i get E-FAMOUS LIKE YOU DACIDBRO? i need to do this in order to help Polka advertise PNW stuff. right now i'm just a scrubby bang thats posts too much garbage.

i feel like they better change something drastic soon, because turtles will just time out all day with small ass combos

Anyone think time may actually be a serious issue again?

Time outs occur regularly just from pros doing 3 long combos on each other and the turtling/pressure that happened between those combos.

Now characters will need to do even more combos to kill each other and there will be even more turtling.

OR does anyone think the resets in combo and resets in proration will make everything right?

I agree on the timeout thing. The gameplay in CS2 seems to be more toward resets in combos/proration to make up for taking away the loldamage and lolreallylongcombos we've been dealing with. That sounds more fun to me than having the matches being hitconfirm practice...

You rarely see people completely draining their barrier meter in CS as is but in CS II with its change to guard primers and of course air "unblockables" I expect to see people going into Danger mode quite often. That damage increase in that mode is going to play a big part in the large scale of things and also given that they increased the corner damage potential for many characters and in general toned down defensive options to a point where "LOL I HAVE 2 BURSTS FOR FINAL ROUND" isn't the way to go for characters with 5 or more primers, I fully expect the games to go just as fast if not faster in the long run.

It's time to start implementing guard breaking block strings into your play kids. The biggest problem I forsee now is that I won't be able to spot a failed Hotenjin when a Hazama does 6B.

in other news: JD having more prorations is soooooo sadlife, its my favorite move.

ON TOPIC: a friend of mine translated on the JBBS that all of the "killer" moves in BBCS are being removed, as in that they are just being nerfed.

an example of a "killer" move that was listed was litchi's staffed jC or taokaka 6C

How is 6c a killer move? She lost Tloops and ppl rarely get hit my 6c.

You lose more when you burst. Burst twice = 1 primer for everyone but Tager.

wait... so you lose more than half? Would that mean that a character with 4 primers gets brought down to 1 after bursting once?

oh, meaning 4 primers becomes 2

5 becomes 2

6 becomes 3

Pssh, and they say the American school system has failed us all.

Fuck yeah, basic math.

It will be interesting to see how this affects the bursting habbits of some characters, mine will remain the same, unless they decide to give Noel another primer, still kinda holding on to that hope.
