5c doesnt link after j5d hammer anymore @_@?

playing cs2 psp now.

any 3ds users can confirm?

I'll quote my post from like three posts back. Next time just take a look through the thread, most of the time the info is there somewhere.

I see people having problems with the hammer loop. I'm pretty sure the most definite way to get the 5c to link off the second hammer hit is that they have to be on the ground when you hit them with the hammer. So when you do jd with the hammer, you should be above them, the hammer's head should be just a little above their hitbox/about parallel. it's also a kinda tight link, but nothing too bad.

Okay guys, we seriously need to get a Platina mod up in here. She's out for more than just a handful of people now and things are going to get very messy and cluttered around here. We're not going to be able to clean this place up without the help of a Administrator. =/

Alright so what threads could we knock out and which threads could we have stickied?

Day 1 Platinum Thoughts and Platina The Trinity Challenges should be deleted.

Platinum The Trinity Information and More should be renamed Platinum the Trinity Frame Data and Proration Discussion.

Platinum Critique and Self-Improvement Thread can be re-opened.

We can finally finish the information for the video guide, open the combo thread for discussion, clean up the Platinum's Comprehensive Gameplay and Mechanics Guide and we should make a new General Discussion thread.

General Discussion, F.A.Q, Combo, Video and the Mechanics threads could be stickied.

Sound like a plan?

i can help write up some stuff if ya'll like. i have more free time so yay~

oh and for some reason that video says fight for 3rd. disregard that since that was still a fight to be in top 8

I spent a solid amount of time experimenting. It seems like you can always follow up the hammer off of:

2c > c bubble > sj > j.c > j.c > j.d

6a > sj > j.b > j.c > j.c > jd

otg 5c > sj > j.b > j.c > j.c > j.d

It seems to be completely height based. All of this was tested on Tao, so I'll have to fuck around with others.

Hmm, ok ill try and help you with this I was just testing the hammer follow ups on Hazama

Yes, the hammer combos are height based, basically platinum has to be high enough to where the 2nd hammer hits late so that she can recover in time to hit the 5C. it works on everyone so long as your first jump is a super jump

kinda new to platina here, trying out corner block strings assuming your opponent IBB everything and does not have a dp or 50 tension to hotenge you or something

dash in 2aa5a 2369c j5a 5a 2b 5c 3c 214b or c 3c 214bc then either dash in with 2b again, or 2aa to 2367c

or

jump in through c bubble with groundedIAD j5b j5a j5b 5a 2a 5a 2367c 5a 2b 5c 3c

Edit: Also sorry if im misunderstanding something but by 2369c are you refering to when she uppercuts you with the rod? if so thats just 6c not 236c so 6c into j.236c? once again sorry if im misunderstanding :o

moon into j5a. not sure if 6C is tight though, 6C feels like it can be jabbed out of during the start up

using 6C from 5a is like a reset hoping for a fc, and i got myself reversed by friends tsubaki's distortiontrying it >_>

Holy shit, I don't watch for a day and suddenly I'm five pages behind on the thread! On her colours though, BBCS2 on PSP is the same as CT on PSP, you just, "buy", the extras with the game's, "currency", that you get for doing most everything. It's not as obvious where it is as in the first one, but just scroll to the bottom of the gallery and you'll see all kinds of crap you can spend your P$ or whatever on. You might have to level up though to get certain things.
