Honestly, this wouldn't come as too much of a surprise. There isn't a lot in it for them if they release CSII as a free update (though it would be much appreciated). CS + some DLC still only makes it up to around the price of your average $60 game, and the CSII re-balance probably cost them more than $0 to put together. While we're still hoping for a free patch, don't bust a nut if there ends up being a price tag attached to it.

Heck, on second thought, I would probably pay for the balance patch without Platinum as long as the price is reasonable. I think people are scared that ArcSys will release a BBCS2 disc with all the character DLC and the balance changes along with a new game pricetag. But really, I think Arc is smart enough to NOT do that. I'm all for buying content for a game as long as I'm getting enough bang for my buck. Edited December 10, 2010 by Shiawase

Btw, whining about the release date is... Useless. Ask me how I felt when I knew that I had to wait until LOLSPRING2011 - eu CS got released more or less two weeks ago, I was licking my staches thinking about Platinum and playing with her from now on (also who the hell am I lol just a newbie). Gotta use Mu then, meh... I want another kind of delicious flat chest though. Ugh I'm not good in this forum things and discussions and stuff :x time to lurk in silence

And Yukarin will always be the queen of the mahou shoujo, no disrespect to Yuuki-chan or Kugi-sama. If Platina at any time says the line, "sukoshi, atama hiyasou ka", I'll be able to die happy.

But on the brighter side that gameplay was SWEET! It's making me wish that by some miracle her release date gets pushed to february. Also WoZ your Flonne Plat edit is awesome any chance someone can make that into an avy? Also I will never drop her when she gets here, I mean right now my main is Rachel it can only get better.
