You can fit Tsubaki in there after the throw, I thought. Just wish I could test damage and different combo paths relative to the duration of your OD (100/50/25% health).

Yeah but Hotaru uses less stars. So why use Tsubaki if you can use Hotaru. Depends on the damage and untechability though.

Yeah, I just would want to maximize damage in the corner and considering how much meter you get with OD, it's not too farfetched. Then again, it's all just theory.

Hm, I guess we would want to maximize damage before OD in case they try to burst. They can't burst after the throw, or during OD, and Hotaru would whiff through the burst.

So doing Throw > Hotaru > OD would be unburstable all the way through I think. And doing Throw > Tsubaki > Hotaru > OD would make it so they can only burst during Hotaru which would make it whiff and have us in OD next to them.

Really? Seems like Hotaru would be nice burst-bait into a Shippu starter. That would do hella.

...I just really like Shippu.

Oh yeah, the jbbs brought it up once before and I think during loketest too when people were saying they were able to follow it up with a 5A on characters like Tager. I think it's supposed to net you more meter though there's no confirmation on this matter since people seem to like sticking to 2C for their combo parts. I think it works because they're more at a higher elevation so your 5A hits them instead of whiffing them because the opponent goes too low.

So I guess this means we can only catch projectiles physically attached to the characters (Hazama's chains/moves, maybe Noel's moves, Nu's 5C?) and not Nirvana and the mom.

It's not just his chains, even his 6C and Venom Sword activate it.

In other words it's the biggest troll in history against the biggest troll in history.

Hazama's Astral doesn't though, I guess that's something.

If you ever wanna mega troll a Hazama trying to AH you, use 6C on it. You'll make a Fumajin right on Hazama that he's forced to get hit by when his Astral is done.

Also random fun fact, being directly above Hazama making a Fumajin on his Astral will not save you from it.

Physical and projectile attributes are move specific. For Hakumen's counters, if they catch a move that has both, it counts as physical, thus putting the opponent in hitstop.

There are a few other moves like this in the game, e.g., Noel's C normals. If you time and space it PERFECTLY you can actually cut some of them, but it's tough since a Fumajin only appears if the game calculates that their attack won't hit you beforehand, so usually you'll trade or one of you just CHs the other with no orb.

This. A majority of Hazama's moves are hybrid projectiles. The only move that isn't is is his astral which is a full on projectile.

In he video I posted I wanted you guys to note how you can't escape yukikaze if it catches your burst due to the new hit stop properties against projectiles.

I didn't quite get the new Enma followups for his D moves.. How do those work?

And by the way... THE END HAS COME!
