Asteroid vision is I think not terribly different from just any place you might reset pressure. Press a button after something > asteroid vision and you might get hit by lunatic upper. press a button after lunatic upper and you might get hit by mars chopper. Press a dp or a counter and you might get baited.

This is true, anyways on my road to UMAD. I'll be netplaying on both systems I encourage anyone who wants to play me in either BB or GG, let me know via messaging me on DL or on my accounts.

So does no one use Mugen anymore because of the faster drain/short length? I haven't really seen it get much use in most vids.

Situational set ups

You can't just activate it randomly because unlike BK/FRKZ, it leaves you vulnerable to a CH

And imo, the damage isn't THAT rewarding with all the risks/limited set ups. I can get barely over 10k off a full charged 6C.

Mugen is an all around bad move, it's worse than Sol's Dragon Install from GG. And that's just a super that helps you die in style. You could break 8k with 8 stars without risking Mugen so long as you're in the corner.

i assumed this was about CP mugen (i could've been wrong?)

though i don't see people using mugen + OD lately either, makes me wonder if there's an easy way to deal with the shippu spam free approach (which i would've assumed from the get go but it seemed to be used with a lot of success early on)

Mugen is now just a poor man's Kishin/OD, why use it when you could CONSTANTLY have 8 stars for 6-7 seconds and still have some left over after you're done your combo?

I don't know why I'm posting this here in the Hakumen forums for the ex-lambda mod, but GGs toan. Like I said I didn't feel like breaking my stick while playing you since this usually happens online vs lambda.

Btw the whole "negative playstyle" on lambda sorta works. What did you think toan?

Today I learned that Zantetsu takes a quarter of Lambda's life and is unblockable.

you gonna change that title to "not free to zantetsu"?

He is probably too busy trying to hunt down Toan's lambda. Lambda VS Hakumen. It is like an addiction.

Sorry, a friend came to visit randomly. I wanted to netplay more -__- but I couldn't ignore him. if you're on early in the afternoon I'll head back on psn if you're up for it though.

It's usually 1/3 with 4 stars but netplay, until the second or last match, didn't want me to do kishuu after zantetsu.

I just meant the first hit. That first hit alone takes 1/4 of my life. That's more than Tsubaki. That is almost Tager's 360A damage.

Nah. Throws are much worse since I can't tech them.

I know right. Hakumen 1 hit combos outdamage tsubaki full bnbs!

He's referring to Hakumen's overhead special: Tsubaki which does 2.2k. In which case he is right since the first hit of Zantetsu does 2.4k followed by the second hit which does 550.

If spaced out well and used sporadically Zantetsu is a good move, but if you use it telegraphically it becomes an easy to block overhead that is also a waste of stars.

Only just got home, and it's highly unlikely I'll be online at any point tomorrow. But if I feel like playing I'll post it up here.

What are our options against people who delay tech in the corner again? 2b? :/

usually 2b or 6a with the same timing that is used to catch rolls will reset if they tech late i am pretty sure. i almost always go for 5c -> 2b or 6a oki at the end of corner combos

i've also seen 5c in jp vids catch late techs which is a lot more commanding but less flexible
