I always felt his Astral should remove their corpses from the screen, since he's pretty much cleaving through time and space, and they're in the way. The puppets BS is a real downer, especially when it happens and Relius is standing there all up in your face. The should add a certain range to that if the doll hits it and the controller is close enough, it'd work.

I don't see why not, since I've been told Noel's new counter Astral works against projectiles.

The worst part is Relius can practically auto-pilot into Astral from almost anything, making him an extremely terrifying threat once he has 100% health, especially with the ease he has of getting in on and staying on top of Hakumen...

Oh.

Today I looked up hakumen's astral's name.

Also apparently the literal translation of his drive is Slaying God. That explains a lot.

I always translated it as "Destruction of Evil" actually.

Anyways these are my thoughts, since his Astral is even more useless than it already was in previous versions of BB... Might as well give him a new one altogether in my opinion lol.

Why? I've landed the astral more in CP than I have in like every other version combined.

Still not as good as other astrals though.

On the flipside, its much more satisfying to land than other Astrals.

Nothing makes your opponent feel like a dumbass than making them activate their own deaths.

Same.

The astral may have been nerfed, but buffed meter gain makes it activate much more frequently. I've never landed it as much as I have in the past couple weeks.

I land OD Yukikaze mostly against Kokonoe, other Hakumen, Relius, and Carl. I might land it against a few others, but I don't really recall who exactly.

I've landed astral a lot more in this game as well. The increased heat gain really helps a lot.

it's like charcoal and burgundy. that is not a default palette unless i am really missing something (and #6 is solid black, not to mention the sword is black instead of silver)

That's the Famitsu magazine color, or color #23

I only found out now that you can't do Crush Trigger in Mugen. Wonder if it's a bug or a feature...

Pretty sure they did that on purpose otherwise you could crush trigger infinitely until your opponent ran out of barrier and got guard broken.

It's a feature. It is listed under his frame data. They probably don't want you spamming heat-based system mechanics while in Mugen since you can't CA or RC in Mugen either.

granted it would be pretty funny if you even managed to touch hakumen during mugen if he could CA + RC on any hit and then combo you for 4k guaranteed damage.

Anyone have an answer to Tsubaki's DP> j. Orb > dive cross up? Is there a way to get her while she's in the air after blocking the DP? This cross up is easy to avoid, but I want to be able to keep her from getting away from me so easily.
