Dakanya Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 If you will be arriving at the airport in San Jose, you can take a free shuttle to the Santa Clara Caltrain station and then take the train up to San Mateo which is approximately less than 100 feet away from the arcade.
Nakkiel Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 hmm....can anyone pick me up from the airport SNCI saturday morning if it isnt too much trouble? FUCK YOU NIGGA
[TRM]tenkai-45i[xTF] Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 If you will be arriving at the airport in San Jose, you can take a free shuttle to the Santa Clara Caltrain station and then take the train up to San Mateo which is approximately less than 100 feet away from the arcade. He probably means SFO since it's closer.
dsmoove12 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 probably the San Jose airport I think SFO...Agi said it was closer
OrionXElite Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Yeah SFO is closer and if worst comes to worst, you can get to GameCenter from the Airport using the train. It'd only be about a half hour and the train stop at San Mateo is literally a block away from GC. But again, worst case scenario option.
Shining Aquas Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Be careful, that's dangerous ground you're treading into. We could totally run side tournies for Shaq-Fu, Street Fighter 3D, SNES Sailor Moon, Spawn: In The Demon's Hand (2v2), Power Stone 2 (2v2), CvS1, Street Fighter 1, World Heroes, Clayfighter 63 1/3, Mortal Kombat 9, Pokemon Puzzle League, NFL Blitz (2v2), Touhou 12.3, Rag Doll Kung Fu, Atomic Bomberman (Norcal vs Socal, East Coast vs West Coast) and Pokemon Stadium 2. I'm definitely not saying we should run any of those. Spawn would be pretty hilarious at 1 am though. Shit I almost forgot Michael Quest III.
blk_mage Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I can probably pick you up if it's sfo as it's on my way to gamecenter anyways. What time would it be?
takahiKUx2 Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Oh shoot. No GG on Sunday? Guess I'm not showing up...
Tae Seong Kim Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 So gg will be on Saturday? Or what's going on!? O_o
blk_mage Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Like around 9 ish Ok, I should be able to do that. I'll PM you.
Chun Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 I'm thinking Saturday will be main brackets for BB, SCV, KOF, finals Sunday. GG will run their bracket Sunday (Side MB tournament also included if setups are brought) as well as mini tournaments based off of whatever exclusives we get. I'll have the finalized schedule up tomorrow morning. I think my main objective here is to make Sunday a side tournament/Finals day. Work and Game Developer's Conference has put me behind on the website updating.

Tae Seong Kim Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Ok cool! Thx Chun. Is the parking free btw? :V
Chun Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 @Meowmix It's not like GG casuals won't be played Saturday, so feel free to come by then too. @Tae There are garages in the area that charge parking, but it's not as bad as it could be. More details can be found on gamecenter's website or the norcal website.
Meowmix Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 @Chun I would go both days happily if it wasn't for factors out of my control (Namely, my ride only being able to go one day and likely not being too thrilled about driving up for nearly two hours to do casuals, as well as a lack of boarding/ride back in the advent of finding a place to stay).

Dakanya Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 sooo what about gundam? also if you are gonna have a finals day at all you might as well make it a top 8 day... then maybe we can have side tournaments on saturday
ehuangsan Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 That's a good schedule; I'm down with that. I wasn't certain that I could make it on Saturday, but Sunday should be cool.
Shining Aquas Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Finally got Gundam Extreme VS in the mail. From Amazon, apparently. I haven't paid a great amount of acute attention to the Gundam tournaments; what exactly is the team arrangement: 2v2 premades or 2v2 randoms? Also, I can't figure out how to dodge two gundams at once. Why does it got to be so hard to not die?
Dakanya Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 2v2 premades if you are in a 2v1 situation and they know what they are doing, you can expect to take damage
Tone Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 still wondering about the housing situation for all of this anybodys house nearby open for 3 people? nobody ever got back to me on it.
Shining Aquas Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I've got other questions, but I'll dump them in the gundam extreme thread instead. Super NCI is this weekend. It sounds like we have the semblance of organization (Brackets Saturday, Finals Sunday), but do we have any specific time allotments for each tournament?
ZeroRaider Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Pretty much green lighted to go, hopefully I can bring some other people to go as well.
