I intend to take both games pretty seriously, so I'm all for this. If needed, I can make brackets for these games in addition to the usual MB.

unfortunately, i think there's only one feasible way to add two games to the roster, and it involves getting rid of a current game. with a bit of critical thinking, i'm sure you can all figure out which game i'm talking about.

in the meantime, i'll go test the waters on orochinagi.

I'm assuming you mean melty. I can see the reasoning; how many people entered melty last time? The only issue is that I don't think the melty players want to see their game removed from the proceedings. Weren't they part of the original crew that got NCI started? It'd be kind of a slap in the face to cancel their game forever just because only a dedicated few still show up each time.

KoF13 looks pretty cool, I'm just not sure when it's actually going to come out on consoles. Definitely picking it up whenever it does though.

AH3 I'm a little iffy about. On the one hand, the game sounds mechanically really awesome. On the other hand, all of the characters are moes. I can only tolerate so much weaboo in a game.

I have no interest in KoF13, but you know I'd be all over that AH3. I'm a little skeptical about importing it though, just because there are mild rumors circulating around an english port.

I don't see a problem in just reworking the schedule to add the next two games. It'd just take away from the general matches in the tournament and force it to the top 8/4s. Removal of one game is not necessary.

Dude, if we started earlier and actually started ON TIME, we wouldn't even need to take much away from general stream time. Assuming we could start at like 1pm, Theres a ton of time to show a few general matches from all games in addition to Top 8s of all of them.

i don't mean to pick on the game with the lowest turnout, but logistically speaking, it's the one that could stand to leave the most; especially since melty seems to have a lot of crossover with ah3.

but, it's up to you all to decide if you'd want to see this happen. maybe we could just add two games, though i don't think that would work for very long.

Needless to say, I'd rather that we try to continue running MB if possible. It's one of the few regular MB events in America & probably the only thing that keeps Norcal MB active. If it becomes prohibitively difficult after we introduce the other games, then we can talk about it.

Seriously speaking, I think they have this at TRF for Hokuto no Ken. They have a tournament for just the weaker people, and whoever wins this tournament can participate in the tournament with the stronger players. Obviously we don't have to have the condition that you need to win in order to enter our main GG tournament.
