ZONG_one Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I think that's only FB danzai. Since robo can special cancel anything into DP, I think something like robo 5K > aba Danzai > robo DP (even level 2) wins. FB might be a different story on that one. Could be that only level 3 robo DP will beat FB danzai.
ジャンプ狩 れる + 236D makes the opponent bounce a number of time on aerial hit, it's surprising that it red beats (meaning it's still valid). You can pursue the opponent with a jump using that (I guess). If done early, it'll stuff moves, which then it'll be powerful. - (I'm thinking 6A is slower since it's a nerf, but the "緩くなった" says otherwise. Someone verify.) - 236236D lost its invincibility. If done early, the crest will show, and all of the charge and gauge will deplete. が、依然強い + 2A hits "cat walking" (same thing as before) + 214A's "uramawari" (passing through the opponent probably) has less recovery - Big Bang Smash comes out later than before - j.2C's level reduced. Still a strong move. (Michi, Jewdo already translated this tidbit.) Valkenhayn + ☆JCの攻撃レベルが上がり、コンボがやりやすく + j.C's level increased, you can combo after it Edited November 17, 2010 by KayEff
I'd like to know why this is translated as sledge having armor? It seems to me that スレッジ追加 refers to the additional attack after sledge, which would be hammer or whatever you call it. So an accurate translation to me would be "Addtional attack after sledge has armor from the middle onwards". Anyone care to explain the earlier translation? :china:
farranpoison Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Aww, damn. Makoto 3C wasn't buffed, it was her 214AB crossup. Well, that's fine too. Actually makes it useful. Does anyone know if 3C is still an untechable kd?
severin Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 赤ビ is red-beat. Most likely refers to being able to pursue with a jump on hit.
ZONG_one Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Hunting Jump? MAHHVELLLLLL? Lol. Or DUST? I wish this game had dust.
KayEff Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 赤ビ is red-beat. Most likely refers to being able to pursue with a jump on hit. Thanks Sev, I'll update my post with it.
farranpoison Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Hunting Jump? MAHHVELLLLLL? Lol. Or DUST? I wish this game had dust. We have GG for that, no thanks.
KayEff Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Also I lol @ Tsubaki's 236236D being like Carl's Cantata, except WORSE.
DogsofWar Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I never throught i'd see the day a player would complain about the Ragna changes.... Yeah, when i first read the no gatling after 6A i was pretty pissed. Then i realized i still have ID and 5B, and i was happy again. Lets face it, In the last few Loketests; they gave Rags some new gatlings, They took one (pretty important) gatling away in this test. But its not like Ragna doesnt have a shit ton of other combo options.... Im not happy about it, But compared to everyone elses nerfs, it's fair.
KayEff Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 in before the ragnas of DL switch over to a better character

I'M VERY SORRY TAGER PLAYERS, YOU DON'T GET ANY MORE POT.
Blade Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) I wish this game had dust. Jin's Fubuki, Noel's 6A, Haku-men's j.C, Arakune's 2C, Lambda's 2DD, Litchi's 6C[m] (with pole), Tao's 9D, ummmmm......I forget what all else... Edited November 17, 2010 by Blade
Prototype909 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Jin's Fubuki, Noel's 6A, Haku-men's j.C, Arakune's 2C, Lambda's 2DD and 6DD (I think), Litchi's j.C (with pole), Tao's 9D, ummmmm......I forget what all else... Pardon my French, but what the fuck are you talking about.
Blade Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Do you know what Dust is? Do you know what happens to people when they get dusted??? Spinning diagonal knockback in Guilty Gear, you follow it up with Homing Super Jump for a big fancy air combo that can be abused with things like Impossible Dust. Jin's B Fubuki does the same thing, only you can't homing jump with it, lol
eirei Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Some new stuff, some fixed mistranslations: CA has large hitstop, slow to recover. Lot of characters are pretty much free to combo if you block/dodge it. Jin 6A is +frames on block. Pretty much neutral on IB. Tager Sledge followup has superarmor halfway through. Arakune Zero Vector lasts for about 6 seconds on the timer. Litchi FORWARD throw spins opponent. (probably can't do itsuuA) Bang Daifunka has more recovery, can't followup. Lambchops Sickle will bounce aerial opponent multiple times, red-beats. Beats out jumps. (狩る is to bait, in fg terms) Tsubaki j214 bounces off opponent on block, harder to be counterattacked. j214D is mid, was high in previous loketest. 2C has less upper-body invincibility. You can get hit out of it before it even comes out. Still a strong move. 6A has less proration. 236236D lost invincibility. Uses up meter and shows superflash before the move actually hits. Mu j2C is actually still untechable. Platinum Either j2C or Frying Pan has more proration. 猫歩き is Tao catwalk, [3].
DogsofWar Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Edited: nevermind, didnt read the whole thing. Edited November 17, 2010 by DogsofWar
killionaire Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 He's confusing dust with overheads.... Just let it go. Its amusing I can see the resemblance with the aerial spinning and all, but one property doesn't define something. I don't play any GG, so I'll ask someone who has played the game to define it in greater detail.
Klaige Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Jin's Fubuki, Noel's 6A, Haku-men's j.C, Arakune's 2C, Lambda's 2DD and 6DD (I think), Litchi's j.C (with pole), Tao's 9D, ummmmm......I forget what all else... Man those developers sure know what they are talking about don't they. Good shit friend. Just out of curiosity has anyone heard anything on Bang besides 5A still being a good poke? Edit - Eirie with the psychic post. Edited November 17, 2010 by Klaige
Urichinan Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Litchi's 6C[m] is her only move that does that, not j.C[m]. =^-^=
CakeWasBannedd Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I fucking hate this word, and I fucking hate the assholes that use it. This is a competitive gaming site, and if you don't like "tourneyfags", then get the fuck out. Or maybe I'll just banish you into the "no gameplay" user group so you can just talk about Mu's ass and Platinum's flat chest in BB General. please do this

killionaire Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Don't worry about it, just shake your head and walk away. Or just remember that Blade himself implied to me that he thinks he's a box of crackerjacks and therefore doesn't have the mental capacity to be here. God damn it.. I think I'm going neurotic because of BLADE!
DogsofWar Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Don't worry about it, just shake your head and walk away. I tried to make sense of it, but "Where to begin" came into play. Good advice butters, i think i'll take it....and ponder
