Sophisticat Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 > Haku > 4c CH no longer staggers No... please... no. Not his stagger. It's one of his few legit mixup (and approach on zoners) tools. D:
ZONG_one Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Carl losing j.C>j.B is something that is strange. He just lost some damage and his combo's are gonna be like CT's again. Ehh. Taking away j.C > j.2C is what's going to change his air combos. Taking away j.C > j.B takes away a lot of his sandwich mixup, expecially on tager. :P Also, I read something about Carl 8D having positive proration now. Any update on that? Carl seems fine, don't cry guys.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 > Haku > 4c CH no longer staggers No... please... no. Not his stagger. It's one of his few legit mixup (and approach on zoners) tools. D: It has special cancel properties, while we aren't sure of its proration, it's still nevertheless most likely a buff.
HiagoX Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) Also, I read something about Carl 8D having positive proration now. Any update on that? Just checked again, you might be godlike. ☆8Dの手部分にボーナス乗算がついた + 8D's first hit has positive proration. Edited December 2, 2010 by HiagoX
ZONG_one Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 <3 thanks hiago. geno whirl was the first one to post it. I just wanted a second opinion to feel better. :] 8Dの手部分にボーナス乗算がついた I was going in General Nantoka's blog and stumbled upon this. 8D has bonus proration?
ZONG_one Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Also, Carl losing j.C > j.B shouldn't be a surprise to anyone... How can he gatling j.C > j.B when we already learned last time that j.C causes knock down? I'd much rather have that, because we can always j.B > dj.2C. And we never even use j.C > j.B in air combos in this game, lol.
-Ladon- Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Is the J.D that is listed for non-BK Ragna? shoutouts to getting even more proration on moves that could use less of it

ZONG_one Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) for you. for me. And Ladon, there isn't a difference (to my knowledge) between BK and non-BK moves for Ragna besides what happens when the opponent is hit. Proration should be the same regardless. EDIT- ok 5D is his only drive in CS that has different proration with bk. So unless that's changed.. it should be the same proration regardless for j.D. Edited December 2, 2010 by ZONG_one
Alzarath Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I wouldn't call 4c stagger a mix up. ch 4c -> dash in -> stuff = not a mixup? Damn, news to me.
EdWORLD Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 !!! Did...did Tsubaki just get buffs?! /excitement
HiagoX Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 <3 nice "Week # no pantsu" lol. I know right. <3 Even though it lasts for more than a week
Stafy Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 oh man only 6 (8?) more days is this continuing updates or???
Angel Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Just checked again, you might be godlike. ☆8Dの手部分にボーナス乗算がついた + 8D's first hit has positive proration. This is way different from what I originally thought. I thought it would be like 2D's current bonus proration. Getting 8D as the first hit is silly in all kinds of ways though, especially now that it's blockable in the air. I don't see this mattering a whole lot.
C0R Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I blows up two primers though doesn't it? I don't see it being any less applicable.
Angel Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I blows up two primers though doesn't it? I don't see it being any less applicable. Sorry, I'm not talking about the move itself. I mean the new bonus proration.

Getting 8D as the first hit is silly in all kinds of ways though, especially now that it's blockable in the air. I don't see this mattering a whole lot. I read it as "the first hit of 8D" (since, depending on the spacing, the move is 2 hits -- the clap itself and the shockwave). As entertaining as these location test ups and downs were, I'm really looking forward to getting some solid and final information regarding all the character changes next week!
C0R Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Ah. Personally I think the move has to many active frames on the second hit, so perhaps they're trying to reward more executional skill with it's timing.
HiagoX Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I read it as "the first hit of 8D" (since, depending on the spacing, the move is 2 hits -- the clap itself and the shockwave). Exactly.
No Limitz Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) Something for Lambda, my kanji's pretty bad so correct me if i'm wrong. 5DDや4DDの受身不能時間増加。空中の敵に5DD>4DDとか出来て4DD>キャバリエもCSよりやりやすく Follow up Ds to 5D and 4D(5DD and 4DD) have more untech time resulting in 5DD>4DD being able to combo mid-air opponents. Longer untech time also means it's easier to combo into 236C on air born opponents from a 4DD. I'm guessing this is following the "no jumping out" buffs that everyone's been receiving. Too bad 4DD isn't air unblockable. =( Edited December 2, 2010 by No Limitz

Actually, now I don't know why I read it the way I did, lol. Ok, it's back to sounding too good to be true. :P
