Something for Lambda, my kanji's pretty bad so correct me if i'm wrong.

5DDや4DDの受身不能時間増加。空中の敵に5DD>4DDとか出来て4DD>キャバリエもCSよりやり やすく

Follow up Ds to 5D and 4D(5DD and 4DD) have more untech time resulting in 5DD>4DD being able to combo mid-air opponents. Longer untech time also means it's easier to combo into 236C on air born opponents from a 4DD.

I'm guessing this is following the "no jumping out" buffs that everyone's been receiving. Too bad 4DD isn't air unblockable. =(

Funny really, 5DD 4DD already did combo on midair opponents. It's just that you usually did 5DD 6DD etc...

Uh, maybe at odd angles or if your falling hitbox is huge (Arakune, Tager ect.) but in most situations it blue beats. It usually happens when people try jumping when you're trying to keep them on the ground blocking.

What RaveSage said. It works on some people (I think it's Tager / Haku / Arakune / Tao / Bang?) but not everybody, which is a pain because it's good damage when it doesn't go blue.

I see 2D is getting nerfed for Noel, maybe this will stop people from complaining, like I've said though, as long as her normals become good again, I don't care what they do with her drives.

Buffing Noel's normals in exchange for the iFrames and maybe some of the damage on her drive would make me consider playing her again. Actually it would make me really happy because then Noel's couldn't just D their way to level 60 anymore.

You say that like it's easy, I'm only level 53, get at me.

As far as damage goes, I don't mind doing less damage as long as I land more hits, with good normals I can make that happen, instead of getting stuffed out of all of my "Spacing pokes". While it's still too early to say, I think they have the right idea with CS2, we'll just have to see were it goes in the final product.

To be fair, i fought this lvl 65 noel quite a few times and I was surprised he got away with drive spamming. Taught him a few things or two on how to play Noelie.

Anyways, 2d reduced invincibility frames don't really matter that much imo. They weren't that much and anyways, I only use it to crossup or when i anticipate a low.

I'm almost as high level as a dustloop mod? And I barely play? *cries*....

I only play Player matches, so I level alot slower, I was the same way in CT, I got to level 62 before CS came out.

Also, 2D isn't losing invuln frames, its making Noel's hitbox bigger, which sounds to me like its going to allow more moves to hit her out of it, Mu's 5C for example, currently 2D beats it clean, but with 2D's increased itbox, it will probably lose to Mu's 5C. Just speculation of course.

Lol. Levels don't mean how good you are, just how long you've played.

Back onto what this topic is about rather than netplay epeen- So... I'm a little curious. Are these just changes being done day by day? Or is it just people discovering new stuff?

They are probably discussing the information they've gathered and reaching consenses regarding the changes.

I like her 5C in Continuum Shift a lot more than the Calamity Trigger one, but that's about it, haha.

Any word on exactly how her normals are getting buffed? Like are they all getting more damage or priority or what?

6C coming out faster would be nice. :kitty:

About Noel's normals.

The only way they were made worse as far as "obvious" nerfs, is 6A wiffing crouchers, and 5A not going raep face on your guard. 5A also is -1 instead of +3(it was +something, I forget exactly, I think it was +3 though).

However, all of her hitboxes are garbage, 5B was nerfed to hell, and her awesome(looking) 5C has the same problem, great reach, but terrible hitbox. It basically makes it hard to throw out a normal at any range out of fear that her move will be stuffed by a random 5A. I was also thrown out of 5C at max range once, I lol'd, then I sadfaced.

ON TOPIC: I can't wait to push D less, *Fingers Crossed*

In short, they nerfed the important ones, and that's what counts.

If her Haida combos are going to be gone then they should give her back 6C > BC (Whiff) > 6C combos back imo.

They took them out because ASW hates loops like that and with good reason.
