RaveDX Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 (edited) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GP7vMNYX4Q At 1:42 in the vid, Dora blows the Tager to the corner with j623B after starting with j623Bfc. I imagine 623B(ground or air)fc>5D>j5B>j4C>j623B>(chase to corner until wallbounce)6C>j5D>Cnail>j5D>Cnail>5C>6D>236B for a 4 Seal combo can be possible? Maybe Im hoping too much, but I can definitely imagine it happening. Edited December 25, 2010 by RaveDX
Dacidbro Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 (edited) Your notation is a bit screwy, but I'm going to guess all of your 236's are supposed to be 623's since they couldn't possibly be anything else. Now, the largest reason actually pulling a four seal mid screen is relatively impossible without gold burst is Bang has no way to keep relaunching. After you hit your 5D launch, which would only be possible on a very high air to air j623B like Dora hit (Or one other possibility, mentioned next paragraph), you can only go to j623B again, which I believe loop prorates harshly; if so, there's no way to continue into a 4 seal after that, even if you find the corner halfway through the combo. In the combo you posted, I believe they would be able to instant-tech after 6C. Now, if you hit a very hit anti air GROUNDED 623B, manage to connect a 5D, and find the corner halfway, it might be somewhat possible, in the way you posted it (Although even that is highly doubtful, because apparently jD's proration went to shit :[ ). So that will certainly be worth testing, as 623B was a decent anti air even in CS, and now fatal counter means so much more with it. It's a good idea, thanks Rave. Justice7541 Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Faster 5D has me excited. I've not gotten to play much BlazBlue, but 5D is one of my favorite Bang moves... Also, you guys speak of four-seal combos. Are seals really that important? I mean, I love my Bang Install as much as the next guy, but... Don't be silly, mastery of FRKZ is a requirement for any self-respecting Bang player.
Dacidbro Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 In CS2, I don't think it will be optional. They want that to be the goal of every Bang, I believe.
Exblackman Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 In CS2, I don't think it will be optional. They want that to be the goal of every Bang, I believe. Looking what have done so far to Bang your right but that is sort of limiting Bang play style which I loved since no two Bangs were alike in Cs1 Imao I expect people to actually really try to learn effective counters to FRKZ now or at least try....

Yeah, the more I see, the more that FRKZ seems necessary to not be behind every character. Hmmmm kinda like Arakune curse now in that we go from worst to best character after landing some attacks....

Except Bang evolution goes from mashing>no mashing god mode instead of Ara's no mashing>mashing god mode.

Oh hey, you're that guy I played the other day. You're definitely going to have to learn the FRKZ seal combos now lol. Doing 2C 623B is such a massive waste, as is ending any blockstring in 2B when you're not playing online.
Dacidbro Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Actually most Bangs in CS1 were alike. 5A/2A til you win.

RaveDX Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 That was some crazy FRKZN, looks like he only used corner combos though, and they where only 4k damage(was expecting at least 5k :\)... wonder how much mid-screen FRKZN combos damage deal, 3K average?
Dacidbro Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 I believe it was stated to be 5.6k, I've yet to see it though.
Dacidbro Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 2D is jump cancellable (Very likely old news) 2B is AUB
Lord Cruxis Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 2D is jump cancellable (Very likely old news) 2B is AUB Whats AUB?
zeth07 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Whats AUB? Air Unblockable. It can still be barrier blocked I imagine, I doubt it's a true "air unblockable".
Dacidbro Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Yeah, I'm sure it can be barrier'd. This means Bang has some vicious anti air strings, 5A 5B 2B 6C is 3 AUB's in a row.
rei-Scarred Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 As is 6A. I'm laughing so hard right now, Bang has the most AUB moves of any character by quite some margin haha. 6A 5B 2B 5C 6C 2D 5D Ashura Am I missing any, lol?
Dacidbro Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 His mix up says "DO NOT FUCKING CHICKEN BLOCK ME, YOU DICK" I LOVE it.
Justice7541 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 It's to make up for the fact that it's the third iteration of the game already and he still has no true AA.
GenoWhirl Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Too bad that with the pushback they'd probably be able to jump out anyways
Dacidbro Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Too bad that with the pushback they'd probably be able to jump out anyways Not with the new 2B 5B gatling that most Bang players seem to be quite terrified of.
Exblackman Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 One question is it true that 6D is no longer guard primer breaker and if true did give another move that property in it's place ?
DaiAndOh Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 One question is it true that 6D is no longer guard primer breaker and if true did give another move that property in it's place ? Yes. No. 5c is now a fatal counter but does not break primer...
crystalwind Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 6D now does not decrease opponent's guard primer by one, and there is no other primer breaker but Bang's fire punch(ground/air).
