Anyone interested in going to that Tennessee tournament that's this saturday? It looks like it'll bring a lot more players including from other states. I could drive.

My dad's Birthday is on the 22nd, spending the day with him.

What does everyone's schedule look like for the 29th?

Thinking of doing the Zombie movie marathon that day.

So, Tsubaki has a chargeless combo that does 3k off of 5B in CS2. Best...game...ever...

And speaking of best games ever, I can do meterless vaporthrust loops on Sol a good bit of the time now.

And Chris, when would you be leaving, and approximately when would you be getting back on Saturday? (I take it super early, and really fucking late?)

I'm quite certain there'd be no problems if you crashed here. We have two couches that probably won't get used that night.

Got my composite to VGA converter yesterday. Initial testing this thing works pretty well, also supports 16:10 res monitors which is not advertised online, does not support 16:9 but thats easily fixable. Using it on my ASUS monitor it can do 4:3 or 16:9 so PS2 and PS3 games will played properly scaled. Picture quality is pretty shitty through composite as expected, but super ballin through s-video. It converts incoming signals to 480p so there is no aliasing at all which is pretty amazing. Judging based purely on playing that there appears to be no noticeable lag at all, will do further testing later after class.

How much did you pay for it? All the ones I saw were in the $50 range.

Also, is anyone bringing an extra monitor/CRT for my PS2? If not, then I won't bother to carry it up there.

$45 lol, IF you don't bring your PS2 please at least bring the games. We ended up playing most of them last time.

I can officially say that converter itself does not cause lag on the ASUS monitor. Did a direct test with a CRT TV, with delay being between 0-40ms or 1-2 1/2 frames of lag. Thats within the same margin as the monitor itself on HDMI, therefor the converter itself will not add any extra amount of processing display lag.

The one i have is discontinued, here's the newer cheaper version

My parents called me to remind me that my sister's birthday is the same time as the tournament. I actually can't go either, sorry about that.

Hey guys, air dashing is confirmed for Super 4 AE. Street Fighter has officially joined the ranks of anime fighters. Also, as Marty would say, more karate people.

Jake we don't play online pretty much at all, however if you would like to play with us we're at GaTech every friday. Smyrna is very close so if you can find a way to get down here you're totally welcome.

Andrew do you have any idea how to get Demul netplay to work or if we could specify IPs so we can play GGAC against eachother online?

I never figured out how to get Demul's netcode to work. I gave up when I heard that it actually takes far better computer specs to run it with the netcode on than when you're just running the game offline.

Bought a PS Eye, now we got hype cams for Friday streams!

Honestly though for $25 its actually the best webcam you can buy for the money.
