I didn't mean an entire j2a j2c etc. Sometimes at the ends of corner combos they hit with the j.C low enough that they can jump back in for j2a > AD > j2a > j.C > 5c.

Anyway, I haven't messed with the different variations of corner combos that much, so if anyone's more certain about it then feel free!

if you're talking about what i'm thinking of, then it often has to be a JCed running jump before that second-to-last j.2A you wrote.

This guy is "Kogatan no Musume" lol, but it's not Tenchi; Tenchi was on a different team.

I think it's グレイ Gurei. Can't be sure because I can't tell if its a ku ク or a gu グ.

Edit: On a second look, I think it is Gurei.

Also, the second NSB Hakumen is Nikki ニッキ.

Is it just me, or is the level of play from Haku players in CS2 lower than what we've seen in CS and CT? Am I hallucinating things. :psyduck: Maybe a whole bunch of new players are trying out Haku or something. That's not to say there haven't been some amazing displays too, but then I'm seeing a lot of moments that actually make me think, "Wow, I could do better than this." And I know japanese players are on a different level, but then seeing someone desperately try to randomly Yukikaze a Death Spike or something just makes me wonder what's going on.

Maybe you've just become a better critique of high level play mAc, but the yukikaze thing. I know I can point out mistakes in matches more so now that my experience has gone up, especially with match ups I know well. You have to keep in mind that it's a more viable less dangerous option now in cs2, not saying spamming it is a good idea though.

Btw, figured out the haku player is nvm my previous post.

I really think its just that your level of critique rose just like Blade says. I always have the same thought when I'm watching pretty bad plays from some Hakumens, but then I also know there are a lot of stuff players can miss during the match compared to the things the spectators see.

some players actually suck, but don't forget that not all recorded matches are from tournaments, some are from casuals, so people will be more likely to screw around and maybe try something out that they wouldn't have tried in a tournament match. also, even if a Hakumen player is "good", they'll look like garbage if their opponent is much better (as a player) and outplays them the whole match.

maybe you've been accounting for that, but just in case you haven't, i thought i'd post.

Hakumen CS2 combo vid

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5u6DDv_fyE

The Renka 2nd hit whiff at 2:47 is something I've been messing with recently. I didn't think to try it off of a throw. As far as I know you can get the 2nd hit to whiff on Bang, Arakune, Taokaka, and Hakumen(some delaying required?) if you do 236B right after launching them from OTG state. ie j.214C > 2C > 236B, or high j.214C > AD > (as close to the ground as possible) j.2C > 236B.
