Do I just post the videos you guys pasted or should I continue going through the rest of the video posting thread looking for all haku matches?

I've been posting up any and all jap Haku stuff I found in the CS2 video posting thread that's on youtube, but I only started doing so recently. You might want to dig through the thread up to that point.

Ok.

the link to my CS2 Hakumen playlist is:

like i said before, though, i don't claim to be 100% comprehensive.

Thanks.

Dealing with some real life stuff and coming out of exams, I'll get back into this soon enough.

The hotaru combo is difficult in and of itself. He could easily have simply dropped it, though I am interested in knowing if it works or not/what kind of effect it has on the total damage if it does.

I'm starting to be impressed by Haku's corner damage. It's much higher than what you can efficiently get in CS1.

Just take Kakyuu's first match with Plat. 5c starter into renka(1) -> Kishuu -> 6c -> etc. does 6k on its own. Granted, that's off 5c, but it's still pretty high damage when CS1 loop with 2s did ~4k+. You can also get creative and still net yourself some 2.5-3.5k (mid-screen going into corner loop) by modifying the combo with minimal star use. Yum~ I like new Haku's combo options.

By the way, is that a charged 6c you're supposed to do? It looks like it's only half-charge, but it's good to know.

6k damage is huuuge for 3 stars. I'm relatively certain the 6c is not charged at all, I messed with that combo quite a bit. I actually do recall a combo that uses ch 6C in the corner, but I don't quite remember what starts it. It might have been tsubaki..

Actually no, that doesn't seem to work. I guess you can only do charged 6c out of a hotaru, and they have to be a certain distance away from it or the corner bind won't last long enough. Regardless, charge 6c is significantly slower than the one in that cilp.

Thanks for the info, that's good to know.

By the way, could you also test the standard corner loop bnb, but with, say, a 2a starter instead? I'd like to see what's the minimum damage for 3star's worth of expense.

EDIT: Sweet ass combo @32:35 with the "mystery Haku". Time stamp is noted in one of the top comments. Notation:

Hotaru FC -> IAD (or AD?) j.2c -> 2c -> sj.2c -> Tsubaki -> AD j.2c -> 2c -> sj.2a -> j.2c -> 5c -> 2c -> sj.2a -> j.2c -> 2c -> j.2a -> AD j.2a -> j.C -> 5c.

6424 dmg, 5s. Fucking awesome.

the corner combo:

<starter> -> Renka(1) xx Kishuu -> 6C ...

requires you use the quickest 6C. at least in my personal experience, even if you hold down the C button a bit too long, your sword will completely whiff.

he landed after the FC Hotaru, just btw.

funny set of matches against that Plat, I get the feeling the Hakumen didn't use his card so that he could intentionally lose and not affect his PSR lol.

I'm having issues doing the whole thing on my PSP cause it lags a lot, but it looks like the 3 star version will still easily do at least 4200 off 2a.

Is it me or does the new BnB add an extra j2a j2c before the usual ender?

I tried this myself (with my old PSP 1000XD) and can only do about 3.9K

if i do 2A>renka(1)>kishuu>6C>2C>[sj>j.2A>j.2C>2C>]>j.2A>AD>j.2Ax3>j.C can you squeeze more hits in somewhere?

Also: my fingers hurt

2a > Renka (1) > Kishuu > 6c > 2c > sj.2A > j.2C > 2c > sj.2A > AD > j.2A > j.C is as far as I was getting for about 3800. The issue is it was ending too high for j.C > 5c, and I believe you are supposed to do another j.2A after falling a bit to lower it and then j.C 5c, but I was too far away for 5c if I did that. I've seen jp hakus do another sj.2a set after j.C, but I'm not certain if the untech time allows for that after 2 j.2a/j.2c loops. I have issues doing things consistently on the PSP between laggy stick or terrible dpad, so I wasn't able to diagnose :( and it was late when I was trying it.

I think I've seen 3 loops only in CH combos. They got really dangerous in CS2...
