Hello, everyone! I was wondering if I could make a request as well, if someone has time for it. I found this picture (which I hope is large enough, 694x774 px):

I've been struggling to recolor it to use on my stick art design, but my path drawing is somewhat messy, and the end result is...not too good. Could I bother one of you for help? I'm trying to recolor her to her #8 BBCP color (the one shown by Murki a few posts above).

I'll keep trying in the meantime, and upload it if I manage to end up with something less hideous than my current attempt.

P.S.: Tips on how to draw paths would be welcome, too! :3 I'm using GIMP for editing, if anyone uses it. Thanks again!

I forget if GIMP works the same (I use Photoshop, and haven't used GIMP in like 5-6 years lol). You should try drawing paths based on what you want to color specifically for ex. Noel's gloves and the like. Also, use the color palette for reference or if it has something similar to the eyedropper tool use that it helps a lot!

I'll recolor it since you want to work on stick art (Don't want you to be stuck forever lol), but you can still try your own!

Hmmmm, so, I should draw paths based on colors too, instead of just areas? I'd been drawing a path for every article of clothing; say, one path for her tie, one path for her hairpin, one path for the border of her pin, one for her belt buckle...it took forever, and they weren't matching up properly.

I opened up one of the templates on this thread, the one for Noel's BBCP art, actually, and saw there was a path for, for example, hair, but also one that just covered every blue piece of clothing together. I thought anchor points had to be connected to be part of the same path, but it looks like you can draw multiple areas and have them all be part of a single path for recoloring. I definitely have to try that.

Thank you for the offer! Yeah, I'll keep trying myself too, I still want to learn, but I really appreciate your offer to recolor it, that'd be great. I'll share my own recolor once it's done, too, and hopefully I can bother someone for a critique to get better at this!

First of all. Do not fucking sextuple post. Like holy shit. What? What!?

Second of all, do not attach files to the site, use an image hosting site of some sort.

Third of all, if you're going to post a giant fucking wall of images, collapse them so they aren't a... giant fucking wall of images.

Fourth of all, there are some pretty significant issues with your recolors, mostly to do with "coloring outside of the lines," but I'll leave it to someone more skilled to help you out with that, assuming they're willing and you want the help to begin with.

Yep, I really do like them a lot, I especially like the ALTER MEMORY recolors, I've never seen anyone do those before! I really liked Lambda's eyes in the one recolor.

Also, I was wondering, do you have to use any computer program in particular to be able to recolor? Or can you use almost any PhotoShop-like program? Recoloring seems like it could be fun, and I might want to give it a try.

Im sure there are plenty options out there, like adobe photoshop maybe. But i use an app that's not really meant for this at all. It's called Beautify. Weird, i know. It's an app really meant for recoloring your hair to make it look colorful and sexy, but i found it works superbly well for blazblue picture recoloring. Started off with chibis to now! I donmt recommend it cause it has a thing that bugs me, where if you start a project you have to finish it, cause if you close it for too long the app will rest itself and delete all your progress. Which bugs me.. But with it, my longest project took like 3-4 hours, which is pretty good. And it's not professional... Like at all... So if your looking for professional stuff adobe photoshop may help, I've never used it before ^^.

Thank you for the help! I have Adobe Photoshop Elements, I bet that would work. But now the issue is I have no idea how to actually recolor anything. Ah, well, guess I'll just have to give it a shot.

So, here's a little recolor i made from Noel's cameo in an a Queen's Blade game i believe. Recolored it to her 11th palette _{i believe} on CSX

I'm sure it isn't beautiful, but it's still pretty good
