Sadly it's because match ups are beginning to look like they did in CT. Get the loop? cool ggs. Cant get the loop? you're in trouble... Fighting Hakumen? good luck.

It's less-stupid than CT but still kinda .... that way-ish... so the match up info just becomes a briefe list of what you can punish into reset and since carl can hit confirm just about anything into it.... yeah.

that said i'd adore some match up info anyways.

Against Hakumen, just do the new UB and play really calm. That is the trick.

An Mu aint got a Dp, everyone kno its just a free burst lol so she dont count.

Lol! i dindnt notice that combos was on the challenger.. The truth is that i never played challeger mode or History mode... only training, vs and net mode XD

I was reffereing to the Story mode mode, sorry that my native language isn“t english.. so sometimes i tend to make dumb mistakes when i write stuff XD.

Hey guys, how do we shot big damage now? Because I miss big damage and I don't like playing Makoto so that's not an option. Like 6k, how do we get there now?

I usually screw up the 3D input after the j.B. If it means anything, I usually hold 7 during Vivace in order to get the jump as soon as possible.

I too am kinda curious about the quirkier workings of the 2C set up. I always fall in front of them and not on top. probably just boning up mah jump inputs.

side note: i dont think big damage exists in CS2 if you aren't makoto/noel. at least not in a practicle form. Hazama's double burst combos are all well and fun but i doubt you're gonna do them to someone.

Carl get's 5.8k with with 100% meter combos and a 2D starter and i haven't found a way to surpass that cap, even with gold bursts.

Correction, Carl can get 6K with 100% meter, if you use 2 fermmata ( j2.C, allegreto, double clap, fermata), still doing 5K with just 2]D[ at midscreen is very very good.

2]D[ is very usable in matches

I'm not saying it's not, and i'm not saying his damage isnt great because in reality he still hits pretty hard, just saying that 6K+ is very uncommon in CS2 and it's not necesarily easy for carl or anyone else to get it. Unless it's makoto. lol.

Well with Carl doing combos was never easy, too much execution stuff.. Its true that getting 6K with Carl its just hard... in my case i only go for 5.8 dmg because doing double clap thing is kinda hard.

But i still think that we have one of the most dmg dealers in the game, not like makoto or noel, but hell we can do 5K at midscreen without so much problem.

Iv got 7k wit carl.. 0 burst 100 Heat corner combo

W-O-C-N CH-3c>fermata>J2c>allegreto>brio>5c>j.b>jc>2D>5c>j.b>j.2c>j.b>J.b>j.2c>j.c>8D>fermata>3c>Gear DD 6.7k & they reset inside the gear/in the air for j.a/8D gimmicks

And you can get absurd damage off of Guard break -> Fermata -> combo

I feel tho, that like a guard break, the CH 3C's are gonna be spaced out.

If 3C was like Cs1, im pretty sure that 3C + Fermmata would be very viable. I kinda miss 3C, not for the iad stuff but for the j2.C allecan.

With carl and all his oki why do you really need to do 6k when you can do 4k into unblockable 4k into unblockable 4k or if you are any good everything is a potential okie if you don't focus on his UB resets. That is the way I am playig him now. I just look for more and more ways to oki ppl for them to kill themselves but I am still new so correct me if necessary

Because the only UB that is safe is his loop. An in order for his loops & resets to work ull need to hav alot of Ada Hp. Wit her Hp @ full u can get (x2)3k resets with a 4k finish & oki. But the issue is how much Hp does Ada hav after u finish chasing someone down. U may not be able to do all the resets & UB's needed to K.O. So u do as much dmg as u can with the least amount of Ada moves to optimize ur meter usage. An if u do enough dmg to get the hp lead then they gotta come to u, an once u start RTSD against carl. Its GG's lol

Corrected your spelling. lol

I have blocked the j2C-jAxn+3D myself. It's not THAT hard either, and doing it twice hurts Ada a lot. And I LOATHE watching scrubs hatemail me "fgt go ply sf4 lol"(real message lol) Also, noone expects j2C-allecan~2B in sammichs anymore.

I've had someone block it before too but that's primarily a timing issue I'm sure, as there -is- a way to time it to be perfectly unblockable, similar to his other UB (2D 6B) which has both perfect-unlbokcable status but it's better to the them with the almsot unblockable but not quite because it's the one that actually bounces them..
