I need to remember I can use Air throw - 5C rather than 2B when I'm closer to the ground.

Also I think I need to use 5D more instead of 2D. I use it for the assumption that I'll be able to gain stock quicker. It'll also help because I'll be able to time my blocking better. Kept getitng hit by those Optic barrels.

I should also use 214D more to stuff Noel's wakeup options.

That was delightful. There were at least two moments during the vid where I had to rewind, going "Wait, what?!" when you did something that hadn't even entered my brain yet as a combo....

Edit: Also, be careful using 214D against a wakeup Noel - 4D has foot property and weird invulnerability, so I have no idea who would win, but CH 4D is not a fun thing to get hit by.

Yup I have to be cautious, it's about timing. I have to slightly delay it to get a CH, otherwise her 4D will beat it clean. I have to input it just as she intiates the move. Thanks!

Our 4D is invulnerable from 1-19f but the actual attack is only active for 7 frames so, like Kiba said, if you delay your 214D your invulnerability should be able to beat out our attack.

If timed right though, we can switch to 5D which'll go through your attack so be careful for that too.

Well, that's the thing - 214D isn't invulnerable to Noel's 4D - Noel's 4D has foot, which means it'll hit 214D at any point. (Unless someone is prepared to prove me wrong here - the frame data has been wrong before.)

Kyzer didn't have CS2 Tsubaki exp btw.

Also, I didn't use Tsubaki in Top 4, I used Valk, where I felt I failed on a very high level as I'm not too used to stick (even now).

God damn, I had that 236236C come out as 623C before myself. Such a fail moment when you've got the kill lined up -__-;;

As for Valk, I'm having the toughest time using the new Valk properly. In CS 1, most of my strategy was to use him in his human form and go wolf for direct mix ups and combo continuation only. Now you basically have to use wolf form all the time and the whole transition hasn't worked out too well for me.

Wow. Damn. That was like...poetry. The amount of sheer yomi involved in some of those Konan matches, with the burst baiting and calling out Valk's drive cancel in the 2nd round was freakin' incredible. Combos were good stuff too, though it's clear that they're HARD because he still missed a couple.

He deserves to be in, with play like that.
