SolxBaiken Posted July 4, 2012 Author Posted July 4, 2012 (edited) aka their marketing team realized they were going to go bankrupt against p4u I don't think either title was in hear of eclipsing the other, considering that the RAP stick bundle for AP went out of stock universally on all retailers within a matter of hours, AP is still played on a regular basis in arcades, the game will be at SBO, and the Leaf/Aquaplus fanbase is larger and more faithful than you think. Also keep in mind that P4U is the one that changed it's date up first so if you're going to play that card, Atlus' PR dept thought AP posed a threat to sales. i believe in the netcode thing because this will be A+ first online enabled title, and for such a big game they're banking on this would prove more crippling than the presence of another title. The simple fact is dates can change, these things happen (hell look how long it too Anarchy Reigns to get out the door--International delay not inclusive). Edited July 4, 2012 by SolxBaiken

Your post however is rather confrontational for no reason lol. As far as player number, relative hype, and anticipation goes persona is the stronger game, amplified even further outside of Japan. I was NEVER hyped for P4U, and I'm still not, I'm just not interested. I like the Persona (RPG) games, but I don't like the P3 or 4 cast enough (as individuals) to be interested in playing them, not to mention none of the playstyles call to me). Also I'm burned out on BB (which no matter how much you want to deny it, this is a retooled BB) not saying the game is bad, just not for me.
