Definitely add me to the list of people you can hit up for matches. I've only really played Sol, so more diversity would be nice (I'm getting too predictable. ;-; )

Ishiwatari thanks for the games! I don't know what happened that last game, did you quit or lag out? We need to play more; I had to answer some voicemails for work and eat. I would hope you use/have a mic next time. I get bored and have no way of asking questions or various other reasons.

Im completely ass under the netcode buuut I will add everyone. Lets get a big lobby going (today?!?!).

Also I added basic Ulthury assist combos to Arawn's wiki. No new tech yet :c

I might have found some useful ways to land Konomi's curry special. The most practical is using it to punish a DP before the opponent lands.

WIP method: If your opponent blocks an (air)236A then you can go into the curry special as soon as you touch the floor. So in theory, if the opponent uses anything slower then the curry special, which seems relatively fast, you'll be able to land it. I know that if you cause a guardbreak with j.236A you land in perfect position for the curry special. There's gotta be a practical use for it...and i think im getting close to finding one. :/

There are plenty of practical uses for it, you do know it's air unblockable right?

EDIT: Also Konomi has like the best Heavy Smash cause it's one of the few that actually launches the opponent rather than knock them back (and she can even do a dash to connect multiple ones)

Yeah i knew it was air unblockable, and its good in case someone tries to jump when cornered. The only thing that worries me is that it has no invinciblity, so if someone jumps and attacks, they might be able to hit you. But i guess most people wouldn't jump and attack because of her DP. I never even thought about using it after HS. I'll test it tomorrow.

Go to the last spot in the gallery for that character. View the Story Ending art and press Triangle to swap to Another Story Ending.

The only thing that worries me is that it has no invinciblity, so if someone jumps and attacks, they might be able to hit you. But i guess most people wouldn't jump and attack because of her DP. I never even thought about using it after HS. I'll test it tomorrow.

lol it's not supposed to have invulnerability, that's what you have her DP and Super DP for, that move is solely a combo ender, and the great thing is if you use any move that launches you don't even have to finish with a proper combo since they can only land right on top of it.

When you do a combo like a, b, b+c in the corner. This causes a wall bounce and you may be able to land it as they come flying towards you. I am not sure of the properties of this move. You may also do a crouching a, b, c and then call fan assist girl. This will pick them off the ground and keep them in place; then you can use curry. Never tried or seen these done....just a thought. Both fan assist can be tried as one causes a bounce and the other (fire keeps them in place).

Finished every trophy but Double Titles, and All Titles Unlocked trophies. Game has some unique character trophies but nothing as hard as the AH3 ones. I helped record and figure some of them out with Setsuna for his trophy guide which should be going up soon on ps3trophies.org. Now for the meat of this post... the lovely ranked data I gathered.

Ranked Notes:

  • Win: +0-2000 VP, +6-9 LP, +8 Partner LP
  • Lose: +500 VP, +6-9 LP, +8 Partner LP
  • VP earned doesn't start really going up and down in earned amount till you fight someone 3+ grades different it seems. Base average is 2k before you start to have differences in grades. Don't know how high vp earned can go if you fight someone way above you in grade.
  • LP is weird. I can do my best 50% damage combos, have perfects and get +8. Then do a match only mashing 5C and get a +9. Doesn't seem to be effected by Grade differences.
  • Partner LP looks to always be +8 earned.... useless...
  • Ranked list only shows players who made rooms (go into SETTINGS, third option down change to ルーム aka Room if you want to show yourself on the list and wait for a challenger)
  • Ranked list is limited to only displaying 7 rooms at a time. No refresh option. Have to cancel and go back in to refresh the list with different rooms.
  • Ranked Leader boards default to VP so that's basically this games PSR of sort.
  • Grades are purely based on VP earned. Tracked my VP each grade and compared to leader boards. Pretty simple Grade system.
  • 25th win gave me C Grade. (50,000 vp)

Her BC causes a pop up, and the range on the super is very short. You have to dash a bit to make it connect. But it works fine in the corner. You just need to time it so you don't catch them as their flipping in the air. I did some local play, and i found a few setups for the move. Also the Fan chick is unusable. She has glasses. And chicks with glasses are gross.

while talking about trophies, how do I get the titles for the "Deep Bond" trophy?

Just play matches in ranked, you get titles for your LP with the character. They should all be unlocked when you hit 1000 LP.

IMO best overall partner for The Demon King
