Since the CS tourney will be played on PS3, are we required to bring our own stick? I only own a 360 non-dual modded stick but still want to enter, sorry if this has already been addressed.

Yes you are required to bring your own stick, however we will have a limited amount of first come first serve loaners available. All we ask is that you send us an email with your information so we can reserve one for you ahead of time. The day of the tourney you can pick it up at the registration booth in exchange for a drivers license or id card (just as a precaution) and you're good to go ;-)

Of course not. No tournaments are "stick only". They just have sticks people can borrow if needed.

What tournament was that? They're doing it wrong.

I guess it's more accurate to say no legit tournament will be stick only.

It was "Underground Exhibitions" in Nevada. It's pretty UG so I wasn't really surprised to find an odd set of restrictions.

Yeah, Legit would be the better word to use.

Revelations Lodging Update:

Anyone wishing to make reservations for Thursday (June 9th) please contact either Mariano (310) 955-1112 or Art (310) 744-2043 directly at the Double Tree for help with accommodations.

Also there is a FREE shuttle service provided by The Double Tree from LAX to the DT and from the DT to the venue, running from 7am to 12 midnight every half hour.

If you wish to familiarize yourself with the layout of the city you can use the lovely google maps to get an aerial view of the surroundings. The Proud Bird address is 11022 Aviation Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90045-6187 and The Double Tree's address is 1985 East Grand Ave, El Segundo California 90245-5015.

Both the venue and the hotel are very close together, if you really wanted to you could walk in about a half hour. :8/: Also if you do google map it you will see that both the venue and the hotel are right next to LAX which is the airport that many of you will be flying in to.

Just confirmed: Infiltration and Laugh will be coming all the way from Korea and Satoshi will be making his way from Japan to compete in ReveLAtions! Infiltration and Laugh will be throwing down in SSF4:AE while Satoshi shows what he's got in BB:CS2. As the date gets closer, who else will show their face and compete? Get down to So Cal and find out!

Hey guys, I'm going to be running the stream for pools on Friday and Saturday. If any of y'all could volunteer or recommend commentators I'd gladly appreciate it. If anything, please reply in this thread or PM me. Super excited to be working with y'all!!

Interesting! Just to let you know, I'm going to be there first hand, like I did at SCR. Dacid and Makoto Camaro will obviously be commentating, but I'm probably going to have priority with choosing who's on the mic.

What I usually do with iplaywinner streams, is they bring a splitter of whatever the output is, so we can stream and record on the same setup, therefore negating the "dibs on commentators" problem. I guess we'll look into this.

Yeah I have a component splitter for recording so that's cool.I'll probably snag a couple matches with my recorder since I don't have any Blazblue content. I'd want to have at least 3-5 people willing to commentate since Blazblue will have 2 days of stream time with CS2 and CS1.

Anyone down to have a team tournament on the side tournament day? (Saturday). We'll throw it after BBCS1 is finished, so everyone who makes it to top8 can get back in the groove. What do you think?
