Not in the sense of "atheist", but in the sense of "there's nothing there to even believe in the first place". Being an atheist would somehow validate the possibility of a deity of sorts by its own firm denial. No such thing. That said, religion can be a good thing if only for the social aspect. I loathe church and all it stands for, but the community values are as good as they come.

As for my post it was mostly for the sake of humor. I see religion more as a set of moralities and guidelines, I don't doubt for an instant that people can find comfort and even salvation from it. I don't see God as an actual entity but a manifestation of said principles. Not quite something tangible, more like giving a form or name to these beliefs. I'm personally quite satisfied with my own moralities, I don't feel a need to seek guidance from religions.

Me, Brice and Rhannmah are up to date on cleaning info, so we should be able to take care of this at the following meetups. As for MAT8, Guilty Gear is in, we will have the HQ's computer&equipment for recording/streaming, and we'll probably share it with Tekken. He's willing to lend us the CRTs from the HQ if we need them (because they most likely won't need them, but they might), so if anyone is willing to bring a monitor/TV to the event, let us know, it has to be as lagless as possible though. Thanks Rhannmah for the broken PS2 controller and the GG matches. I'm a baptized atheist. I think religion is good for some people and bad for others, depends what you use/need it for. So if you're religious, good for you, if you're not, good for you. If there's a god who doesn't accept good people because they didn't believe in him, then he's probably not really the god I want to spend the rest of eternity with anyways. I have never been to a club, I have better things to do because I'm way too shy/sadlife to enjoy it anyways. I am also curious however, so, at MAT8, if everyone is hype for that... Aquapazza looks like a fun game, kinda slow so probably easy to enjoy, but I don't know if we'll ever get even slightly competitive at it. If it's an arcade exclusive release, it'll probably take at least a year and a half to get a console version, by then the scene might be dead. Looking forward to what it will look like at SBO, it might surprise everyone and become more popular than every other fighting game that ever existed combined (including brawl and FF dissidia). I'm slightly hype for Riannon :3

It all depends on how much you like people, loud music, and getting drunk. It's also not exactly known for mental stimulation. After a while of doing it, the lifestyle'll get to you. It's not something that's sustainable. I've been to my share of houseparties, but I'll have to admit I've only gone to a club once and it was this shitty place in a dark basement. Shame on moi. :< ----- Also, fuckin' finance teammates dump a portion of the term project on me at the last moment and I have to write it up because it's due at 9am. I also haven't studied the theory at all because I thought they'd take care of it. FML.

I've been to raves here but the music there is way too hardcore for me. Plus you got niggas popping LSD, ecstasy and MDMA and going batshit insane, so probably not gonna do that shit anytime again. Houseparties are pretty cool when you have a good number of people and a good boy-girl ratio. The fact that alcohol is cheaper than in clubs/bars makes it automatically cool and not lame lol. It's a different type of partying. I like houseparties more tbh. @Nolan: True dat. I would not recommend constant clubbing to anyone I know lol.
