As far as I know, I'm the best tager in ottawa, and my tager is utter garbage, so you see the problem. Going to definitely try to make it for MAT, and as soon as sony stops being fail, will be practicing CS2 asap. Was great to play you guys from mtl, hope to do it again soon!

Steb Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 If you guys have more Xbox copies off BB, can't you connect another Xbox to the internet just to patch it? It won't have Mu or the DLC characters, but it'll still be CS2. Also, I'll be heading there soon.

I think we're a solid community now at a good overall level of play. MTL deserves its place on the map. Verdict on CS2: In the end, we played more GG than CS2, lol. No, really. For some reason, GG was being more played tonight than CS2 by a small amount. Cool beans. I didn't put that much time in CS2 so I didn't really get a feel for the game or new Haku, but I overall liked what I saw. On the other hand, I think I've got a better grasp of GG and Slayer thanks to Rhannmah and my games with Kaeru! Awesome matches were had. I don't think MTL will be free at MATVIII, we'll at least be solid. :D EDIT: I forgot to say thanks for the awesome bagels! <3 awesome authentic MTL bagels! Edited May 16, 2011 by Sophisticat

(maybe more if needed, but slightly complicates things, not really a problem though) @Eb: because I didn't think about doing it. Why are you mashing C in combos, you're not playing lambda, are you? @Ken: eh it's okay, more playtime for us. I even did some trials and others did a bit of training mode at some point. btw, lol jin is fucking strong this time. I think fred can agree. @Nolan : nah we'll stay free in GG for a while. Too many matchups, too small scene. I do think we're getting better at a good rate and if it keeps up we'll be at least decent for the matchups we'll know for MAT8. Oh and "some reason" was lolps3 I'm guessing :P

Dude has remained mostly unchanged, and change is good regardless of his strength! Unless I get hopeless with CS2 Ragna and go back crying at Jin, you're still gonna see me playing him as a sub. Cannot drop dat ice completely, that'd be like losing part of my BB history! Also, fuck friends that call during early hours in the morning. My finger isn't used to mashing the c button thanks to mvc3 since cap uses all the buttons pretty evenly along with thor and Stark. Just had some solid matches in cs2 and mvc3. Shoutouts to hyper charging star, iron avenger and yukikaze.

Because there is no point on checking .. the main station has a Hard Drive the others have INTERNAL memory only thats 256mb if i recall. These are all old xbox models before they started putting internal 4 Gig memory. If you find one with that at HQ use it but yeah i remember last time i did MVC3 patch there was no 4 gig models You guys simply get HDD's for yourselfs and put what you want on them and use it.. HQ will not spend money on getting HDD's while we dont need them sorry.

We got the patch and bought DLCs on the main station, but the rest would only have been a temporary solution until the patch is released for PS3, as well as the PSN store coming back online. By the way, the xbox that's hooked up to the CRT beside the 3rd strike station (not the one hooked up to the 3rd strike station) doesn't have recent marvel patches. Sentinel still has his old HP. @Blade : Lol don't ever consider playing lambda if that's hurting your fingers. Mashing 5CCCCCCCC as fast as possible during combos made my fingers hurt soo much, one of the reasons I dropped her. @Kirbster : so, did it come out?

I wouldn't ask you guys to spend money on HDD's anyways, my bad if it came out that way. You guys especially you, cranky, have done enough for the FG community. Btw I'm registered to MAT8 in case you didn't know, did it a few weeks ago. @Pedro: yea and I don;t like complete zoners, I like playing close range if I have/want to. Zoning is only used against characters that have better close rage than mine. I'm starting to like hakumen the more and more I play with him, I tend to forget about his nerfs. Unless I'm blocking and I can't counter, but wtv, other than that I'll be sticking to haku. A few months down the road I'll pick up valk though. @Ken microsoft sold those arcade versiosn of xbox's so that people who wanted to have one coudl afford it. When it originally came out it was $199 if I remeember correctly as opposed to $2-399. Only catch was the space issue (256 megs, or 1/4 of a gig). If you wanted more space over time you were free to buy your own HDD for your xbox. Similiar to what they are doing to the xbox slim 250 gigs for $299 or 4 gigs for $199. it's a smart business plan that gives consumers in terms of their purchasing flexibility if they want to own one. At the same time the $199 was great during the holidays for the kinect bundle, allowing you to own a kinect and an xbox with 4 gigs for only $299. Which is why the kinect initially sold so well. ^This is the most I've typed in a long time, I guess it's because I'm procrastinating about studying for my midterm thursday. EDIT: Pedro if you want, bring me back my 16 gig usb, I can put cs2 on my 1 gig usb. I'm saying that because my 16 gig is too slow to partition, but my 1 gig usb is a lot faster.
