If you have a controller for the console in question, i can make the system cable for you. Just let me take it home so i can test the wires (can't use colors unfortunately, have to find the pinout, every controller is different, even among the same brand). Also, if i do come tomorrow, i will try to bring the tools to shave the edges of your buttons properly, so they can fit in all the way. unsanctifier Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Damn, the stick is sold out too now. I'm not sure I'll have a stick for Summer Jam, lol. I'm a pad player for Axl in Guilty Gear, so PS2 compatibility is not a concern. I tried learning the game on stick, but the punch/kick positions is confusing. Too bad there isn't a way to change controls.

Coupled to my job and everything, I'm hella tired already. But it's 120% worth it! Never in hell am I going to give this hobby up -- it's way too much fun. :D Valk's going to be a poor showing, unfortunately. Haven't practiced at all recently. D: Gl in tomorrow's tourney. I don't think I need to say I won't be showing up, lol.

I was personally thinking of holding out on running anything until the summer was over but whatev. I'm down for whatever it is. Lol @ brice's post though.

I've been trying to get these started since CS2 came out, but never got any response except from an occasional "yeah we could" and never really on the thread. So either people didn't care or are tldring my posts. I think I will do it anyways, so that people on facebook who don't check this thread will be notified. I can't really depend on people to read the thread for info, I don't think many of us read every post. But honestly you should make yourself an acc if only for that. You can set your privacy as high as steb (ok maybe not AS high) and you won't get bothered at all by it. You'll even be able to make the same joke as him. (my privacy settings are so high, if you tag me in one of your pictures, even you won't be able to see it anymore)

I'm thinking about going for the Waseda format (A vs A, B vs B, A vs B for tiebreaker) as opposed to the Pokemon format (A vs A, A vs B, if not OCV B vs B), and locking characters as well as order.

We just did this in Hali. Same format and everything! It was a lot of fun, and went really well. It also really encourages people to play their best, since they only have one shot. Make sure you record it! :3
