Lots of new blood in guilty gear and we'd like to get some game against MTL, anyway here're the deets: The Algonquin Video Game Club is partnering with Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo to host a qualifier for their Canada-wide Street Fighter V invitational tournament in April! For more information about EGLX, click here: http://eglx.ca/Super Gonq Battles is happening on March 26, 2015 on the 2nd floor of the Robert C. Gillett Student Commons at Algonquin College.The venue opens at noon for casuals and registration is on-site only. Please send a message if there are any delays in arrival. The event is open to all! We are running Super Smash Bros. Melee at noon, Guilty Gear Xrd (PS3) at 2PM, and Street Fighter V (PS4) at 4PM. Each tournament is 2-5 hours long.There is a one-time venue fee of $10 for tournament participants. Every tournament game requires a separate $10 entry fee that contributes to the tournament winnings. There are no fees to enter as a spectator or play casuals; feel free to bring your friends!You must bring your own controller. Side tournaments will occur on-site if there is interest (8 people and the necessary equipment).We are looking for volunteer set-ups (monitors and consoles). Participants that supply equipment get a $5 discount on their venue fee.

So DFC/Koihime and SFV? i do think to get SFV but it cost so much. Idk if its just me. i could love to do some netplay BB with some of you guys. I know a lot of you just play Xrd and SFV for the moment. but it could be nice to do some CPEX too!

Not really? Couldn't tell you how things go at the house meetups since I never go but a lot of people still enter the BB tourny at SmashLoft. I think for the last one we did we had like 14-16 entrants plus a casual station or two after the tournaments were done

We have been slowing down on BB and spread out over many of the recent releases as far as the group goes. But there's still people who put in the time in that game everytime they show up. If that's "Done for" to your ears, that's your perogative to choose what you play. But I would not attribute people trying out new games as BB being done for, just my 2cents

I've been a BB main player since i started coming to foonzo lol Love me some blazblue also I'm always down for netplay on BB especially now that getting to meetups is tough I gotta start playing more games though. I wish i could get on SFV too game looks so fun but yeah poverty Really want to come to ottawa but that depends on alot of things going right in the next couple of weeks so yeah holdin my yes for now (maybe ill come just for casuals and spectating if nothing else)

Now i wasn't trying to bash the game in a mean well. i enjoyed CPEX more then vanilla CP somewhat. reason i come more often is because everyone is very nice and have a lot of variety to play a lot fighting games. now to be honest i play BB in a causal way. very casually. doing 236B because i find this move my favorite you guessing lol Mami Circular. But everytime i log online on BB its just very dead i find nowdays. i can't blame because there GG expansion coming and SFV march content is coming soon enough i believe. again i do like this scene because it has some many good people around and its very amazing to talk video games/anime and do something else then just fighting games weeklie meetup. Overall i can't wait for CF. still waiting my Mami Circular DP version lol. Also i haven't hear news of Heartless, hopefully the guy is going good. i could probably text him if any chance.
