Naw just a few friends that probably won't become regulars, but you never know. Also, can you update the Mashfest thread just to say that the tentative date(s) are April 22 and/or 23, and that LK will be there. We should probably also discuss this with the SF guys so we can make sure we can get the HQ to ourselves, it would be too crowded to have both communities there at the same time, especially if people from out of town show up. Once we confirm this and the date, we'll tell Toronto and somehow let ottawa know, maybe halifax too? I think some people over there play, but it's kinda far. So anyways, for games, $$ for BB, the rest is poverty (AH3, GG). About Marvel, I think we should have it in our event, but not announce it and keep it poverty, so the place doesn't get too crowded, but it's a game most of us also play, so we should probably have one for fun anyways. Thoughts?

That is why I'm announcing at MAT8 there will be a GG tournament for sure, I will personally guarantee that. And I'll also run MELTY BLOOD and GG MM'S for those that want in. Depending on the attendance for GG it might be round robin if there isn't enough players, but since MAT8 will feature players for the U.S I doubt that'll be the case. I really want to show up on thursday, hopefully I'll be able to. So many freaking projects, it's unbelievable. I'm still not done with my flash quiz which is a pain in the ass to make... We'll see until then. My paycheck kicks in around the same time that I should be done with my midterm projects/exams, I'm getting overhyped .

Just so we're thinking the same thing. Since Friday is off for everyone, and Saturday should be too, either day we can do stuff like noon to midnight or similar. Well there are probably less than 10 people in the city who know how to play melty and arcana, but since MAT8 is in a while, maybe more people will pick up those games. Pick up GG first though, guys. During casual times after/before any of the BB or GG tournaments start we'll host MM's. But as you said it'll be some time away, and pedro keep in mind more people form the U.S will be coming to MAT8. Heck, maybe even LK might come too if he enjoys himself in april. And he's notorious for MB high level player I believe. Anyways if calm can get his hawt A.C groupies to MAT8 I don't mind maybe doing something for that game. But that's in last place for me in terms of priorities. Link me up with the stream archive from Final Round, I wanna see tokido get blown up by EC in "the game he doesn't even play".

I don't use my credit card much so I don't mind as long as you eventually pay me back. Thinking about getting one of those EVO monitors (ASUS vh236h). It has hdmi input so it could be cool for PS3 graphics with sound (lolvga), there are probably 6-7 ms of lag though, anyways, is this a good idea? Found it on newegg for 179+9(shipping)-20(mail in rebate). Also, anyone know if there's a cheaper way of getting one?

They might pop up eventually on youtube, I hope. And what do you mean by "A.C"? Metly Blood Act Cadenza? Guilty Gear XX Accent Core? Another game? Oh and I just meant that if we were to organize a Melty tournament, Montreal would be free. In GG at least we have Rhannmah. But then, we might even get exposed in BB. Gotta rep that Montreal Exposed, but not too much MMs are cool though, if people want to lose money (I'm up for AH3 MMs, maybe). But whatever, useless double post, what the heck am I even doing up at this hour I probably won't sleep 5 hours tonight.

Per/TheRealNeoGeo on shoryuken.com has been talking about it for awhile. I don't have all the details but i think it's going to be very big ! And it's very close to release now. Unfortunately i do not know if PS2 will be included in it's cross platform-ness. Brice this might also be the answer to replacing your sometimes dropping inputs current stick. I will try to gather more info about it for you guys, but don't get all impulsive on ebay!!!! kaeru

pochp Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Yeah I remember. Let's try to get steb to come too, gotta play that GG on stick, delaying the homing pike while summoning fish is a real pain on pad. Heck just playing on pad is a pain after half an hour. And thanks Kaeru for the info, this is the sort of thing that makes posting stuff here great. I think I feel like learning melty eventually, maybe this summer, so I'll be patient as long as air/steb bring those sticks
