Nolan, hazama's command grab is a poor man's command grab. It's not that serious. If your roll tech is read you against a good player you'll eat a raw jayoku, 2.5k, over a command grab which has a smaller hit box than tager that can lead to only 3k or so in the corner.

No only that, but doesn't have immediate invincibility as said earlier. Haku has the second highest defense, tech and jump, wake up tk hotaru, wake up back dash(?) (haku can't be command grabbed when he hops since he's air born). So many different options.

THE best option is to hop forward or backward. You are throw invulnerable on first frame of jumping and you are airborn as of 5th frame of the hop. Timing is key, this is like using a reversal on wakeup. Jumping is also a viable option. Even though Hakumen's jump has a 4 frame startup, you are still completely throw immune on frame 1 of the jump.

Bloody Fangs: 12 frame startup. Invincible from frame 6-12.

Nolan, you can BACKDASH, TK Hotaru, TK Tsubaki, or simply JUMP.

I'm just gdlk at using the CG, it's not that serious.

OS jayoku or even 2A anti roll tech is not worth eating since you end up back in the corner with 3-6k less health and in the exact same position.

Well, get Fangs going when there's 9f left on Ntech and you can't escape it. What I'm saying is that a perfectly timed command throw is inescapable.

Haku's fastest poke (5a) is 5f. 2a is 6f.

His hop is 5f.

Jump is 4f.

So jump is the clear-cut option... I guess I'll go for that now. >_>

Alright stuff concerning tomorrow and Sunday's meetups. Tomorrow night, Cranky will come get the computer, 360s, and LCDs around 11 PM, so I think we'll end the meetup around that time, the CRTs will remain though. That said, Sunday the stuff won't be back, so I say we go with two Guilty Gear setups minimum and try to get people playing the game (maybe AH3 too ), and of course, BB as always, but just giving you all a heads up. I'm also guessing those SF players who leave their sticks will most likely be taking them to LANETS. Anyways, meetups are still happening, and should all go back to "normal" next week.

i'm late but you are throw invincible on frame 1 if you jump.... that's why i can't 720 on a knockdown and just wait for you do get up and grab you.... because that would be stupid....

also for sunday since the crt's will be there it would be cool if someone brings a laptop (HQ computer will be at lan ets) so we can listen the ssf4 finals on the stream (HQ has wi-fi :3) while playing BB/GG on good ol' crts :D also, we need ps2 sticks for most people to play.... :P
